Paul was a great host and made us feel very welcome! The house was great for hosting a nice weekend with family and friends, and provided the perfect home base for the beach and a great spot to hang out and enjoy each other's company. We hope to be back soon!

Great property with a ton of character. We loved playing pool as we cooked in the kitchen nearby. The kids loved it too!

Loved this place! So fun and close to beach & train station. Golf cart made all the difference. We all slept well. Loved having separate space for my backpacking boys.

We had such a wonderful stay at this VRBO for our annual family vacation! The home was exactly what we were hoping for…..clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with plenty of room for everyone to relax and spend quality time together. It was well stocked with everything we needed, and the thoughtful touches throughout the home made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived.The location was great, and the host was friendly, responsive, and made the entire process easy from booking through checkout. Our family made so many great memories here, and we truly appreciated how comfortable and enjoyable our stay was. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place for a family getaway!

Host was amazing, so responsive to our many questions. Very family friendly. House was very clean. Only thing we might ask for in another stay would be to have some kind of air sanitizer in studio room. Was very dank/damp smelling. Otherwise would stay again, location great access to beach and downtown.

very nice stay

We had all positive reviews of our stay at the Jungalo.Our host was very clear on instructions and guidelines, the rooms were comfortable and well appointed. Our adult kids enjoyed the pool table. The outdoor spaces were wonderful

It was perfect.

We were a family of 6 with plenty of room. We had lots of fun playing pool and hanging outside on the decks. The location was peaceful and beautiful. Short walk to the beach. Definitely going to check this place out again when we come back!

Great property!

My family of 4 adults stayed here over New Years Eve weekend. We definitely enjoyed our stay! The property was just as described. The kitchen was fully equiped and communciation was excellent. Very sophisticated decor. Highly recommend!!

Short stay

We got there Friday night and left Sunday morning. Went to Oceanside for a soccer tournament and didn’t really spend much time at the property. House was very spacious and everything seemed to be in working order. Paul was very accommodating and responded quickly. I would recommend and would definitely book house again.

Great place for our family’s vacation

We enjoyed the house for a long weekend vacation with our family of adult children, spouses, 3 yr old grand daughter and one son’s dog. We took advantage of the BBQ, hot tub, baking and cooking in the kitchen, golf cart, pool table, patio, walks in the neighborhood and the wagon and sand toys in the garage that we grabbed for one late afternoon 8 minute drive to the beach. 15 minute walk to nearby coffee houses. Super clean when we arrived Loved the welcome basket upon arrival and appreciated the high communication throughout the reservation process, before check in and during our stay with Paul. We had a great time

Nice Host, But Not the Right Fit for Us

I booked this property hoping to enjoy time near the beach with my family, especially utilizing the 3-level decks and outdoor areas. While the amenities listed were all present, the condition of the outdoor furniture was disappointing. I understand that keeping outdoor items pristine can be challenging, but the furniture was in poor enough condition that it impacted our ability to relax and enjoy the space—particularly for my parents.There was also a noticeable smell in the small third bedroom, which added to our discomfort.Ultimately, we decided to leave within two hours of checking in. The host was responsive and friendly throughout and issued a refund for the night we didn't stay, which we appreciated.From the guest logs, it’s clear many others have had a great experience here. I think I might have stayed under different circumstances. But for this trip, the property unfortunately didn’t align with what I envisioned or needed for my family.

Good For Family Gatherings

We needed a place to gather for Christmas with our adult children and their dog. We also needed a place close to extended family members who live nearby. This was perfect! It is within walking distance of the cool little shopping areas and yummy restaurants that are popping up in Oceanside. We were also very close to Goat Hill Park which is a beautiful and fun public golf course just on the other side of I-5.

So much to offer!

We loved our stay! It was so close to the main area of Oceanside, the neighborhood was great for walking the dog, the house was immaculate, and there was so much provided inside and out for hanging out at the house. As someone with a large breed dog, it can be hard to find something that can accommodate him that isn’t shared so this was perfectly private for us. Plus the little studio is such a great option if some of your party wants a separate spot for sleeping. Can’t say enough! Thank you so much!

Loved it!

Everything was clean and squared away. The wall heater in the studio was working and we had some issues getting the front gate to lock again (small stuff) but overall we loved our stay. It was easy to find, it was quiet, and I loved the fact that we just rolled down the hill toward the beach and had breakfast at Cafe 101. Thanks again!
