Thank you for your feedback. We regret that your stay did not meet your expectations, but we must clarify the facts regarding your visit. The porch light wire was safely secured with insulated wire nuts high out of reach during ongoing exterior updates. We offered a same-day service call to cover it, but you declined. Bedroom door: The door latches properly under normal use, and we received no mention of this issue during your stay. Propane grill: The grill is safe to use and functions correctly; the grease management system is intact as designed by the manufacturer. We promptly addressed all your concerns and offered active solutions during your stay. We also offered to let you check out early with clear instructions, but you chose to stay and later left this review.

Renee we are pleased to hear you enjoyed your stay. We think being walking distance to both Torch Lake and Grand Traverse Bay is what makes it such a great location. Hopefully you were able to enjoy the food and live music across the street at the Torch Lake Cafe too 😀
