Location is great, we were able to walk to the gondola, restaurants and shopping downtown. Hot tub was clean and hot. Basement washer and dryer and bike storage was accessible from the back yard. Two full parking spaces in the backyard/alley. The home has a small living room adjacent to the kitchen and another larger living room space upstairs.

Such a cool historic property in a great location. Very walkable and a cute neighborhood. The host who checked us in gave us great recommendations on local food and the check in process was easy. The home has many board games available and a large upstairs living room to watch movies as a group. Overall a lovely place to stay that our entire group thought was great. The hot tub maintenance came to the property during our stay which we were not informed would happen so that was a little confusing. There is no AC in the home which I’ve heard is typical for mountain houses but it did affect our stay a bit.

Hello Bobbie, we're delighted that you enjoyed your stay at the cool 1899 historic home in Telluride we call Finn Town Flats. Yes, we have weekly service for all of our hot tubs in both Telluride and Mountain Village and we're sorry for the inconvenience. And yes, as you mentioned rarely do homes in Telluride or Mountain Village have air conditioning. In the summer we get temps at night in the high 40's and this really cools things down nicely for great night time sleeping temps. I know that Kimberly set up the house with fans pushing the cool air in for you. Thank you and we look forward to seeing you again soon!

Neat historic house in perfect location

The Perfect Vacation House

We have stayed in so many ski rental properties over the years, and Finn Town Flats takes the cake. From the layout of the house and ease of parking to the short walk to the gondola and pleasant walk to shops and restaurants, this house left us wanting for nothing. Our host Peter made sure that we had everything that we needed and was a joy to meet and truly made us feel at home.

Charming house - perfect location

Our family enjoyed a wonderful stay at Finn Town Flats. The location was perfect and the hosts were helpful every step of the way. We had our small children as well as grandparents on the trip and there was plenty of space for everyone, and the two living areas were really nice. We loved staying here and hope to be back soon!

The location was excellent, short walk to the gondola and a short walk to shops and restaurants. It was a very comfortable stay, everything was easy to use. Pam and Kimberly provided a very easy reservation and check in process. The even provided a high chair and pack-and-play for our stay so we didn’t need to travel with extra luggage. Overall, fantastic!

Close to gondola

We appreciated having only a two minute walk to gondola with our skies. And at night it was less than five minutes walk to Main Street. Hot tub was excellent too, just make sure to bring some flip flops for getting to/from as it’s a decent walk outside. Management was excellent and would definitely stay again.

Historic lodging/best location in town

Peter was a gracious host/guide/advisor upon our arrival and made our family vacation extra fun. The house and location were spectacular, especially for history buffs. I've stayed in Telluride a dozen times, and this was the best. Highly recommended!

Perfect spot for in town gondola proximity

Want to be in town but close to the lifts? This is it. Perfect. Literally a block from the gondola and close to fun spots in town!

Fantastic House & Location

This house could not be better located, nor better taken care of. Beautiful inside and right in downtown Telluride, it was perfect. On top of that, the caretakers met us on arrival and saw us out and helped answer any questions. This is the perfect place to stay in Telluride!

Perfect place for family!

Wonderful house and absolutely perfect location! Very clean. Beds were great. Everything you need in the kitchen. Hosts were great to work with. Hot tub was extra nice at the end of the day. Will definitely stay here again!!

This was our first non-ski trip to our favorite mountain town. If you haven't seen Telluride in the fall, do yourself a favor and fix that. Finn Town Flats is a great house in the heart of all the action. Forget the condo, and stay in this beautiful, clean, spacious home. There is plenty of parking and you can walk to everything. The property managers were fantastic. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for a memorable family vacation.

Gorgeous historic home in the perfect heart of Telluride town location

What a wonderful home! We had a lovely 4 night stay at the Finn Town Flats in the heart of gorgeous Telluride town. The location is absolutely perfect, far enough away from festival grounds to be quiet, but walking distance to all of the attractions including the gondola, scrumptious farmers market, and of course festival grounds. We have been going to Telluride annually for the Blues and Brews festival and rented a home for the first time. It was the perfect jumping off point to walk down to the festival and restaurants. The bedrooms are large and well appointed, and the linens are exquisite. I loved the remodeled bathrooms and living spaces, the owner kept the historic feel of the home but updated in all the right places. Especially nice were the extra touches: the local shampoos, conditioners, and soaps, soft fuzzy oversized towels, and the basket of local truffles on the granite countertop. We sadly didn't get a chance to use the large hot tub in the backyard, but it was all ready for us had we had an extra second to enjoy! Peter was in contact with me the entire time and made sure everything was too our liking. We loved arriving to a stocked kitchen (a nominal fee for exactly what we wanted) and ample parking (2+ spots). What can I say? We would love to return again!

Comfortable Quality Home! - Perfect Location! - Extremely Attentive Managers!

I just returned from one of the best ski trips I've ever had. There were 8 of us in my group, three couples and 2 singles, and this house was a big part of that success. From the moment we arrived, it was clean and well appointed. The concierge, Peter, met us at the property and had a wealth of knowledge about the town, the mountain, the restaurants, complete with recommendations for everything! It really helped jump start our trip. The house layout was so comfortable with the dining/kitchen and small sitting area on the main floor and the large family room on the second floor. We all had our own private space as well as the common areas. The rooms were well appointed and had lots of dressers and closet space so you could really feel at home. There were also humidifiers in each bedroom. Ours was not working, but one text to Peter and it was replaced the next day! The kitchen was also well equipped and our restaurant chef roommate found it easy to cook there. We utilized the hot tub every day. It was a little awkward getting out there as you have to walk out the front door and down the side of the house, but it certainly didn't deter us. The laundry machines in the upstairs bathroom and basement were clutch. Location! Location! Location! This house was a 2 minute walk (in your ski boots) around the corner to the free Gondola and ski rentals. Amazing. All of the restaurants and shops are just a block away. We didn't use our car for anything, including grocery runs. Everything was so close! Perfect location for us. I highly recommend this property to anyone and all of us said we would come back in a heartbeat!
