What a beautiful place to stay for a week. Fantastic view. So great to have direct access to the lake via the boathouse. The hot tub and pool were enjoyed by all. The bedrooms were very comfortable. Great dining area and well appointed kitchen.

Beautiful views! House is nice and spacious- it did get a little warm one of the nights we were there and they ask not to turn the air conditioning below 70. But we would totally stay again- just maybe not in summer :) would recommend!

We had a great time visiting Lake Lure and staying at this property. The property is beautiful, from it's mountain and lake views to the house and pool! The property was very well maintained and clean and had everything we needed. Its close to restraunts and golf courses and mountains you can tour. I only wish the lake allowed you to rent boats for skiing/tubing and not just for leisure hangout. There is a company that does offer this, but it guided. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Perfect getaway for our family

Very nice accommodations. Beds were comfortable, view was incredible, pool temperature was perfect, kitchen was well stocked with essentials.

Private Paradise

Absolutely beautiful! The perfect private paradise! Super clean, best beds and sheets, kitchen amazing…and the view! You can’t beat it! Super private and pool and hot tub was perfect! Didn’t want to leave. Definitely the best property we have even rented! Paradise.

Beautiful house

Loved the house and pool. Lake is beautiful boat dock is great too. Very steep drive to lake. Our family had a great time. the house was well stocked. Would recommend staying here. Only had 1 towel per person for a week stay. might want to bring extras.

Great view

Nice property with great amenities. Could have been cleaner (floors, spider webs, etc. ). Corners of rooms and between couch cushions needed cleaned better. Overall a great week with plenty to do. We would recommend it.

The house was great - had tons of beautiful spaces throughout and everything worked well. The view was stunning, even with Lake Lure being low on water during the clean up. The pool was nice, though very warm! The house was well appointed with several items that we needed/wanted during the stay. Probably one of the most However, the house wasn’t as clean as we expected when we came in. There was a lot of dirt/hair on the floors, as well as confetti and balloons that must have been the last people in the house. After we left, we even got a phone call asking if we had a pet there bc they found evidence of a pet while cleaning. This was pet hair that was present when we arrived at the house.

Beautiful home! Our stay here was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The views from the property are truly stunning, offering a beautiful backdrop every day. We also loved how much privacy the home provided, making it feel like a peaceful, exclusive getaway. There are neighbors nearby but none could be seen or heard. We loved the pool and the hot tub and also the kayaks and paddleboards down by the boathouse. They were the perfect amenities to explore the shore lines of beautiful Lake Lure. The entire experience exceeded our expectations and I highly recommend it!

Just as advertised! This house is an absolute gem. Beautiful views, very clean, with a kitchen that has everything you would need to cook at home. The area itself has many great activities for a family with kids. The pool and hot tub got a lot of action and from what we could tell, having a pool at this lake is special bonus. The boathouse is a short but challenging sloped walk away, but you can easily leave whatever you need in the boathouse to make future journeys a little easier. We actually really liked how the boathouse felt separate from the house to give you a different secluded adventure each time. The lake was perfect temperature and so clean. The little cove that the house is on features calm waters for swimming, floating, and kayaking. We actually rented a boat from James through Yonder for a day and would highly reccomend that activity. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Fantastic mountain escape

Home is spacious, beautifully designed and so comfortable! The pictures on the site do not do it justice! The views are spectacular and the pool and hot tub were a hit with our family and especially the kids! We plan on coming back!

Wonderful Stay at Panoramic View

We absolutely loved the area and property. The house is newly renovated and well stocked, from the kitchen and appliances to the pool and lake gear. Ample towels for showers and lake, extra linens if needed. Any issues we had were dealt with promptly by the rental company. As a side note: Highly recommend Lake Lure Adventures-we planned on taking the kids out skiing one day and ended up going back out 2 more times. Love this place and will definitely be back!

Gorgeous view

Family of 6 adults & 3 children had wonderful time. The house, pool & view were perfect. Didn’t use lake much due to difficult access. First trip to Lake Lure area & found it very charming.

Exceptional Mountain Lake Home

The property had everything we expected and more! The house and boathouse were well appointed and fully operational. The lake and mountain views are second to none. The interior of the house looks to have been recently renovated and the new appointments, colors and finishes are top notch. There are king sized beds in every bedroom which is a plus! We were very pleased with the vacation rental and look forward to booking our next stay!

Fantastic stay

The property and view are beautiful. The place was clean, and the check in was smooth. Little touches like fresh flowers, and WiFi "pills", gave that feeling of "we care about our guests". Even on a rainy day, we made good use of the game room and the fun continued. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

A Mediterranean-feel getaway in the mountains of North Carolina

WOW! was the overall consensus of both young and old when we walked into this spectacular home. The enormous views began as soon as we opened the front door and we felt swept away from the mountains of NC to a village in the mediterranean. The layout of this home allowed for the gorgeous view to be seen all throughout. While preparing meals, dining in either of the 2 dining areas, ,enjoying the living room, relaxing in the guest suite or the enormous master suite, the views were there reminding you of the beauty that surrounds. You can feel how much the homeowner wants you to enjoy this home by all of the fine details throughout and the little extras that were provided. While the pool area was enough to keep our group together and entertained, other areas of the home were just as enticing. The `game room` was the perfect place for some reprieve from the sun and a little healthy competition between young and old. We watched the sunset from the floor to ceiling windows in the living room while enjoying a family style dance party, adding to our fun and memories. The `littles` enjoyed their hidden getaway in the bunk room and deemed it `headquarters` for plotting schemes to play tricks on older siblings. (mwa-ha-ha!). The master suite was enormous and the full wall of windows was a glorious place to wake up and start the day. The dock also provided bounds of enjoyment and the provided paddle boards and kayaks allowed for some fun lake time. This home has it all and stories and experiences have been rehashed and shared for months after our visit. This was a perfect vacation spot and we would visit here again in a second! Need a few things

I liked the property very much and the view was amazing! I would have liked a few items in the house. We like to cook so a drain board and knife sharpener would have been great. We like to entertain so barware would have been nice. Glass highball glasses and martini glasses would have been nice. The road to the boat house was treacherous. Both my wife and I fell and skinned knees and toes. There should be a disclaimer of some sort. I think a golf cart or some other vehicle should be provided for your guests safety. A First Aid Kit should also be provided. The plants are obscuring the view from the pool patio. I would also change the connectors on the flag, they clank all day and distract from the relation. We did enjoy our stay and would stay again. Thanks

Plenty of room, games, kitchen equipment, etc. Pool was great. Dock area was better than expected. Home showed normal wear and tear for age/use type. Cleaning was average. We hope to book again in the future. Great overall.
