Such a beautiful home on a beautiful property. The location was very safe with friendly neighbors. We even got to see a young black bear travel through the back yard during the early morning. The sunsets were amazing! Host was very responsive and helpful to our communication. While it was a bit secluded, the rides to restaurants and beaches created fun family time in the car.

This is a beautiful home in a beautiful setting. We had a wonderful time relaxing and hosting our (local) son and his family for good meals and visits. The kayaks, ping pong table, and scooters were much appreciated. The house was perfect in every way and the neighbors were friendly.

Awesome stay

We were happy with the accommodations. The check-in was a breeze. The owner was top notch and went out of their way to make our vacation awesome in my 10 year old’s words. We will definitely look to this property in the future.

Great place

Listing and pictures were accurate. While it was a drive to the beaches, the quiet of the area was appreciated at the end of every day. The sunrises along the Sound and sunsets from the backyard were prefect. Would absolutely stay here again.

The home was everything advertised. Plenty of room for our family. The area was quiet and pleasant. The marina on the road into the house has excellent food. We enjoyed our stay very much. The host was always responsive if we had any questions or concerns. This home is highly recommended if you are seeking a quiet place for a family vacation.

House and property were amazing just as advertised the host was very helpful when needed and the rest of the time invisible just like we wanted wish the property was a little closer to the beaches but everything else was awesome would absolutely love to stay here again in the future thx for everything Michelle

Perfect

We were looking for a place for my extended family to gather near the Outer Banks. This place was perfect. Enough room for all of us. The location is perfect - nice secluded neighborhood surrounded by wildlife and nature. But also close enough to get to the beaches. Lovely place that had us contemplating moving there.

Weekend getaway

This house was a very nice place to get away too if you’re looking for some peace and beautiful sunsets. There were some imperfections but the owner was extremely responsive and caring. Stores and restaurants aren’t super close so it helps to bring food in. The community dock was great for the kids to fish off of and the game room kept them occupied. Would stay there again.

My family and I enjoyed every single moment our family vacation. We enjoyed s’mores, fishing, family fun time together, outdoor activities and just relaxing. Our host was extremely nice, friendly, helpful and honest. We had a problem arise. Our host turned their attention on our situation, listened to our concerns and had a solution in response within minutes. My family and I rate this stay 10 out 10! Best Ever!

Exceptional Stay at Waterlily

This home was absolutely beautiful, offering spectacular water views from every angle. The community is quiet and friendly and the wildlife was fascinating. The backyard was outstanding and the peaceful sunsets and serene nights were truly unforgettable. The home was well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The owners were welcoming, easy to communicate with, and checked in to ensure we had everything we needed. Conveniently located with quick 30-40 minute trips to Virginia or Kitty Hawk for activities, restaurants, shopping and fishing. 10/10 - we didn't want to leave. We’d love to stay here again to enjoy the soundlife!

Life on a Marsh

Everything was great at the house. Good location. Well equipped. Just right for our family but being on a marsh was amazing. There was always something to see. The kids were amazed by the wildlife and the sunsets were spectacular. But as night fell that whole marsh came to life. It was a symphony of frogs, birds and every other night animal. We all loved it❤️

Wonderful Water view house

I highly recommend this house in Coinjock NC. The host is very responsive and very helpful when renting this property. The house is beautiful and the views are wonderful looking over water to the western sky for gorgeous sunsets. There are multiple decks w/seating on the Western side of the house. The house is very clean, has nice furnishings and up-to-date appliances. Everyone was impressed with the house and we all enjoyed our stay. It’s a good location to be on/near Currituck Sound and a short distance to the Outer Banks without all the congestion of staying on the Outer Banks.

Southern Hospitality

This home worked great for a large family just looking to get away from the hustle of city life. It's only a small drive to NC12 where all of the major shopping and tourist attractions are located. We enjoyed shopping for our groceries at the local produce stands and seafood from Frog Island. Our kids loved crabbing, kayaking and swimming from the community pier. We only got one day at the beach due to red flag warnings so being able to swim in the sound was great! Owner was very responsive to any questions or needs as were the neighbors! Property is located in a very quiet rural area between Norfolk and the major OBX cities. Exactly what we were looking for!

All most Heaven

The location, peacefulness of the marsh was fantastic, away from the hustle of commercialism. The interior of the home was adequate. A few frustrations of missing supplies, but we compromised due to the location. The ability to bring our pets was huge, the neighbors were very nice and inviting. My biggest concern was the condition of the exterior of the home. The listing would have been accurate if you were able to use the listed amenities. The environment of the marsh is not always friendly but the house, decking, and furniture were dirty with assuming some sort of animal (frog) feces, thus pretty much unusable. A shame since the sunsets are amazing! You would think knowing guests were arriving it would have been cleaned. The outdoor grill was very well “seasoned”. Could not use as it had food, grime build up. We spent 10 days there and made the best of what was there but there definitely needs to be some up dates to the home.

Thanks for the review. We had guests stay the week prior with no complaints to the exterior. Being right on the Marsh, we have a plethora of frogs during the summer and (even with regular cleaning) they do leave their mark. I wish you would have mentioned this during the several times I checked in during your stay to ask if there was anything you needed, as we could have had our cleaner come clean the porch furniture again while you were there. We are disappointed you chose to leave a negative review rather than expressing any of this during your stay as we would have been glad to make it right.

Absolutely 10/10 recommend this beautiful location and house. Everything was much accommodating and although there was a small drive to the main attractions of beach, it was fantastic. Plan on returning in the future!!! Hosts are fantastic, neighbors are friendly, if you are looking for a peaceful getaway with everyone under one roof, you have found it with this house!!!
