STOWAWAY è una ventilata casa di città a due piani; eccellente per due coppie o una famiglia. Fa parte di un piccolo gruppo 8 unità denominata VILLE sul ponte superiore. Si trova appena sopra la città, rendendo il noleggio auto opzionale. Tre negozi di alimentari sono a pochi passi di distanza.

Il primo piano è composto da foyer d'ingresso, soggiorno, pranzo, cucina, lavanderia, bagno di servizio, sala da ponte, e terrazza con vista sulla piscina e con vista su St. Croix, il piano superiore ha due camere da letto molto separate, ognuna con il proprio bagno e terrazza . Una camera da letto ha un soppalco aggiunto.

Giardini, alberi tropicali e una nuova piscina creano una sensazione West Indies. Panorami sono fantastici.

Sarete accolti al traghetto, portato al supermercato e si stabilì nella vostra villa dal greeter personale, che sarà in grado di rispondere a tutte le vostre domande e sarà disponibile per telefono durante il vostro soggiorno.

We enjoyed our stay. Views were great and lodging was as represented. Nice to have the pool and a/c, washer and dryer and kitchen to prepare meals. Back up generator was great to know was there, but we never needed it. Communication with the host was great too! Would stay again.

As with any property in St John' the drive to the condo can be tricky with steep roads and driveway. Condo offers great views and only 1 mile from Cruz bay. Great communication with host on some power issues that were resolved. Its nice that there is a generator

My husband and 2 teens-18 year old son and 15 year old daughter had a blast at this adorable cottage like town home. There is a pool easily accessible but we hardly used it as we are beach people. Washer and dryer was super handy and kitchen was fully stocked with all the essentials. We loved how the bedrooms were separated so each kid had their own private area with a bathroom. Road getting up to unit is steep so be prepared but fine once up there with a designated parking spot. You cannot beat the incredible view. Marcia was wonderful and easy to get a hold of. Don’t hesitate to book here!

Excellent stay!

Great home base while visiting St. John. Well stocked kitchen especially appreciated for cooking in. Beautiful views and great access to everything. Highly recommend!

Perfect for families

The view was amazing and this rental was perfect for our family of four. The complex was quiet and private. Plus, the pool and AC units in the bedroom made it an extra comfort stay. Communication with the owner was prompt and she provided tons of ideas and info for us.

Beautiful views, comfortable, a/c was great in sleeping areas. Are every meal on the balcony and never tired of the view. Owner communicated well. The road to get in is very steep but most of the roads on the island are— not bad but noteworthy. Had chickens and kittens for company, the pool was nice and clean.

Amazing property and even better owner! Marcia was a dream to work with. She provided us with a wealth of great information about St. John, which was really helpful. She was flexible with our arrival, setting us up with water ahead of time and helping us with our car rental. The property was beautiful, exactly as the pictures showed. We loved it!

Paradise Escape

Marcia’s property is comfortable & beautiful, providing everything you need to make your vacation amazing. The ocean view is absolutely breathtaking & we enjoyed every minute there. The pool was also wonderful & we all wanted to stay longer! We hope to return again one day!

Excellent value and view!

This place exceeded my expectations. Lots of space and great views. My only compaint was no screen doors on the bedrooms but that is being taken care in a couple weeks! Can't wait to stay here again in December 2016.

Charming place with beautiful view

The host was wonderful and had lots of great suggestions for snorkeling, eating, beaches etc. the air conditioning in the bedrooms was great and I loved the open plan with incredible views off both the upstairs and downstairs. There was a nice pool but we didn’t use it since we stayed out hiking and snorkeling each day. The drive up was quite steep and I am glad we rented a Jeep . I would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful Winter Escape

Stowaway was a great place to stay on St John. It’s a beautiful hilltop property with spectacular views of Cruz Bay and was the perfect space for two couples. The owner provided a lot of helpful information ahead of our arrival and was very responsive. The unit came stocked with bathroom essentials & beach bags, chairs and towels. It was close to Starfish Market for a few groceries (bring your own bags) and town restaurants (5 min drives). Would definitely stay here again.

This place was amazing. It was great to have coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening. The host was very responsive and answered ALL our questions. Definitely coming back and even got to speak with Marcia’s mom. First class!

Perfect "home base" for our week in St. John. Kitchen was well-stocked with everything you'd need to prepare breakfast daily and then pack a cooler for a day at the beach. Appreciated the home providing beach chairs, beach coolers, beach towels and pool noodles (used for snorkelling). Air conditioning units in bedrooms worked well to make for comfortable sleeping conditions.Marcia, the owner, was very helpful in planning our week in St. John. She provided many valuable tips, including renting a vehicle in St Thomas vs St John, the passenger ferry vs the car ferry, recommended restaurants and recommended beaches.Lastly... the view from the deck overlooking Great Cruz Bay is amazing. Never got tired of that!

Great place to stay on St John. Comes stocked with bathroom essentials & beach gear. Owner provided much helpful info ahead of our arrival and was very responsive to any issues that came up once there. Being a two-story unit with stairs, not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. Road up to unit is steep, windy, & not well-marked but the payoff is spectacular views.

The most quintessential St. John cottage!

Book the trip! Just do it. We had the absolute best stay on St. John with our family and our stay cottage made it so perfect. We had all the beach items, a grill for after a long day at the beach, TV to watch our Tigers play baseball and some precious kitties who would visit us. The pool was wonderful for an afternoon dip from our long days snorkeling! Marcia provided us with tips, tricks and all the recommendations for our agenda and stay. Grateful our time on the island and look forward to visiting again soon.

Stay at Stowaway

Fabulous views to the southeast over Cruz Bay from bedroom deck and lower, main floor deck. Is fairly high up mountain. All amenities, appliances worked well, except mosquito screens, some of which don't actually close inside from outside at screen rollers. May be the best bedroom for sleeping I've ever encountered. Landlord was very nice, helpful and friendly, a great welcome to St. John's. Would stay there again, next time.

EXCELLENT

We stayed at Stowaway for a week in January 2023 and had a wonderful time! The villa had everything we needed and the rooms were very comfortable. The breezes and view on the first floor are just amazing - we really enjoyed the sea air! The kitchen is fully stocked, pool is clean and quiet, designated parking spot is a bonus. Check-in was a piece of cake - Marcia was an excellent host and checked on us a few times during our stay to see if we needed anything (which we didn't - everything was there for us!). We're already checking our calendar to book a few weeks at Stowaway - one is never enough!

As a yacht designer, I have sailed most of the Caribbean. St John is by far the best place to live and vacation. You will also be talking to my daughter, Marcia, who manages the bookings and finances. My home, Callaloo, is mid island on St John.

Before buying in St. John, we considered settling on St. Barths. I weighed the pros and cons of each place. St. Barths offers a bit of Paris (a place I adore), but St. John offered a lot more of everything else. Dependable, affordable phone and internet service, 22 beaches, good dining (although pricey), affordable air fares, hiking trails, and the heavy hand of the US Government which keeps St. John safe, beautiful, and accessible to all.

We respect nature, wildlife, beaches, reefs, and the sea. We adore our wild donkeys!
