Great place to stay with a relaxing home like feel. It was away from everything but close enough to Marquette downtown. The rooms had comfortable bedding and easy access to WiFi. The hosts are welcoming and great to work with. I would stay here again!

Excellent Hosts! Due to a storm coming in we requested to come a day earlier. Within 15 minutes our host made it happen. The house is very clean and had the perfect set up for our family. We were lucky to have a beautiful fall day to enjoy a campfire out back. The rental is a duplex but the layout of the house makes it feel like you are in a standalone home. We never heard a sound from the people staying next-door. Our family would love to stay at this property again.

We were in town for the Marquette Trails Festival and were rarely at the house, but it was perfect for our needs. The hosts were great with communication before our visit, and even offered to provide a bike rack since we were there for the races. This space was very clean, the beds were extremely comfy, and it was only 15min away from Marquette. We will definitely stay again if an opportunity arises.

We had a wonderful stay during college orientation. The house was nicely off the beaten path. We were able to relax each night with a movie. The beds very soft and the showers were hot. The host was very responsive with our door lock struggles, nothing out of our norm. We plan on staying again while visiting our offspring at college.

It is very clean and very good maintained house. It has basement. All items were in order. All supplies were stocked, like the owner thought about potential guests. Every item I only thought about were there on place. Any soaps, any knife, any plates, any glasses, coffee, tees, cooking oil, any towels. So. I highly recommend these hosts for all customers in any season

Only one nit pick: either we missed it, or it was not described, but we were not aware this is a duplex. We only saw our neighbors once, so it was not an issue. It is secluded, but there are at least 2 other duplexes in view. On the up-side, this place was clean and comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped, beds adequate and bathroom functional. If you are looking for luxury, you may be disappointed. For our needs, this was almost perfect and you cannot beat the price. If you are looking for a comfortable base from which to explore this beautiful and interesting part of the country, you cannot beat the value we found here.

Love the woodsy, quiet setting of this cabin, & the fact that it's close enough to Marquette so that we can still hit our favorite shops & restaurants! This is our second time to stay for almost a week here, & as long as our son & daughter-in-law stay in this area, it will continue to be our home away from home. It has everything that you need, & we just hated we never got around to using the fire pit or the grill!

Little House in the Woods

Great secluded property, yet only minutes away from restaurants, attractions and shopping. Spacious, had everything we needed. It was very clean and nicely furnished, plenty of space to put your belongings. We would stay again.
