Condo is in a good location, near the town area. Had everything needed in the condo. It is advertised that there was no AC, but the owner should consider adding some small units. It’s too warm to not sleep with the windows open in the summer, but then you’re facing the pool which is really noisy, even before and after hours, so there’s no good solution. The provided fans are big and help throughout the day but are too loud to use when sleeping

Thank you for the feedback! We're glad you enjoyed the location and found the condo well equipped for your stay. We understand the concern regarding summer temperatures. As noted in the listing, the property does not have air conditioning. The windows are crank-style, which makes finding a compatible A/C unit particularly difficult, and given the area's generally mild summers, A/C would typically only be needed for a few weeks out of the year. We also appreciate the feedback about the fans and pool noise. We'll share those comments with the owner as we consider ways to improve comfort during the warmer months. Snowy ski vacation

The agency was so easy to work with. The condo was clean and up to date. Cozy beds and a great location. Easy to walk to town and slopes. I would definitely rent again

This was our 2d stay at Dakota Lodge; can't say enough about this property! Fantastic location in the heart of Keystone Village & all it has to offer...restaurants, shops, treats, and proximity to the slopes! Heated underground garage made unloading a breeze! Pool & hot tubs right below our balcony...only a quick dadh from the building to the warm soothing water after shredding the slopes! This unit was perfect! Gorgeous view of the slopes and chair lifts, comfortably furnished, all the kitchen tools we needed! Plenty of space in each of the bedrooms. We were even grateful for the charging blocks beside the beds!We will definitely be back!

Condo its on great condition and location! The heated pool and hot tubs are awesome! The elevator of the building is pretty slow.

Perfect Location for a family ski trip

Only improvement that could be made is to get a better (softer) mattress for the bottom bunk bed.

Wonderful unit in a superb location for walking to the lifts, eating, shopping, and an on-site ice skating rink. Had a great time. Master bed mattress was softer than we prefer, so take care if you need a firm mattress.

The property was great. As described and more. A little hiccup with checkin but it was mostly because of wording in the instructions. Communications to resolve it were seamless and FAST!

Perfect location for Bluegrass and Brews festival

We were in town for the festival and this condo was the perfect spot. We had close access to all the events. This condo overlooks the pool and hot tub, so it is a bit loud up until the pool closes at 9:00, but we enjoyed the laughter and sounds of summer fun! The fans were helpful to keep cool. The kitchen was well stocked. We had plenty of space and everything we needed. Parking was easy and luggage carts readily available. Our family had so much fun exploring and playing in the cool river just a short walk from the condo, we spent hours there, chasing trout and splashing around!

Great property! Loved how close it was to the slopes, loved the hot tub. The unit was spacious and had everything we needed. Had an issue with the fridge and the TVs and after a bit of a wait to speak to someone at the property management office they sent someone over to fix it. Unfortunately it all couldn’t be fixed until a day later. One suggestion would be to provide robes to use for visiting the hot tub and pool as that’s a bulky item people likely wouldn’t bring from home.

Fall at Keystone

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location, QS bunk beds were good to accommodate the kids. However, this is a bare-bones rental compared to others at River Run Village, with sparse amenities and supplies. The living area is very small and cramped for 4 people (2 adults, 2 kids), with a tiny eating table which sits under a cabinet (watch your head). It worked for what we needed in the off-season, but not ideal.

This unit is a standard sized 2 bedroom. 850 square ft is standard for Dakota Lodge, which is a little large than several of the other buildings standard size. It is true there are other units that are more upgraded. However, we price our units based on the particular features of each unit. If a guest wants an oversized 2 bedroom with vaulted ceilings, granite counters, stainless appliances and more, then we have that property available, but it costs more. Making an apples to apples comparison is important. All of our listings have 24 photos of the property and the building and the amenities and there is a detailed description of the accommodations as well. We are confident that we provide the best value in Keystone for whatever level of accommodations a guest is interested. We have a 10% price match policy. If a guest can find a comparable unit for less than our advertised rate, then we will beat that price by 10%.

Comfortable clean and perfectly located

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This apartament is very comfortable, with great beds and nice kitchen/living room. It is just a 2-3 min walk to the gondola. We enjoyed the outdoor jacuzzi, ski storage and more. I had a few doubts during my stay, so I sent emails asking. The answer was very fast, almost like chatting throug whatsapp, even after business hours.My only comments would be that the elevator is too slow and crowded. The second comment is that the ski lockers are too narrow, so you can only store skis and poles, but not the boots.

Everything was spotless.However we had 2 problems. We couldn’t get the TV in the living room to work. Either it needs directions or the remotes don’t work. 2nd problem, a set of outside stairs leading from pool area to the street had not been recently sanded and I lost footing and went down. Otherwise maintenance was excellent.

Smooth and comfy

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental was just as described. The kids LOVED the bunk bed. The pool and ease of access to it was wonderful. Check in and out was smooth. Only thing I struggled with was the squish I was of the master bed: it reminded me of a time our air mattress started to go flat and I had to either lay towards the edge and sink off the bed side, or be ready to roll into my husband in the middle as we’d squish together. So crazy uncomfortable for me, but my husband said he wasn’t too bothered by it. Seems too much foam for a mattress for my taste. But regardless, the rental was awesome.

Charming ski condo!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great experience at the Dakota Lodge. The location was perfect and close to the gondola. I was surprised how thoughtfully the condo was stocked, with tissue boxes and little trash cans in every room. They had several humidifiers in the closets and they made a big difference. The place was exceptionally clean when we arrived. We also loved the heated parking garage. Unfortunately the pool/ hot tub area was closed for maintenance until the last night of our stay. We did get to use the hot tubs on the last night, they were fabulous there were two big ones. Our unit's windows looked out over Dercum's Dash ski run and we loved watching the skiiers coming down the mountain from our couch. We cannot wait to come back and stay again!
