House was lovely..enjoyed our stay even had a white squirrel siting. The kitchen had everything we needed and restaurant and bike trail suggestions were awesome.

Great location! We enjoyed the seclusion of being in the woods and on the mountain while being close to downtown. Everything was clean and as advertised on the property listing.

Great place. My friends and I came up on a mountain biking trip and this house is on the Pisgah side of Brevard so it's close to the trails, but still in a very private, quiet location. The only issues we had were with the locks. The front door requires just the right amount of pulling tension or it just won't open. We didn't have one time where the lock worked on the first try. The backdoor lock required a video explanation to use. I'm not joking. Small issues to be sure, but if you're renting out a house it's one of those things you should have fixed. It's not an interior door that sticks - these are the ways into and out of the house. Would stay again, 100%

The house is very nice and beds were very comfortable. The location was really nice as well and we loved that it was pet friendly. The sofa in the living room was very big and comfy to relax on after a day of hiking. However, internet was very spotty at times, there was mold on the ceiling of the guest shower, and halfway through our trip the refrigerator stopped holding temperature which was really inconvenient since we bought most of our food to eat at the house (we ended up freezing a lot of it and not being able to eat it on our last day). We also ended up getting a nail in our tire which may have been from construction of new houses within the neighborhood (this is obviously no fault of the host), but the closest tire shop open on a Sunday was a 40 minute drive. The lock on the front and back door was very finicky though the host provides instructions and a video on how to lock and unlock the doors. The hosts communication was fantastic though when I let her know any of our issues.

House was clean, spacious, comfortable. King bed was nice. We didn't use the kitchen much (some good eateries in Brevard) but it was well stocked. HVAC worked well. Very nice outdoor seating, some under a canopy. Only issue we had was trying to open the front door. Several of us tried, using both the code and either the check or lock picture and while we ultimately got in, it took multiple tries. Last five miles are on a narrow curvy country road, but all of our Navigation systems picked up the address and the mailbox with house number is very visible from the road. Driveway is a very steep hill up to the garage.All in all it is a very nice house and the owner was very communicative. As one of our daughters lives in NC we often rent halfway and would consider this house again.

Large, pleasant home. Kitchen was fully appointed, bedrooms/beds very comfortable. Our favorite was the outdoor area. Fire pit and adjacent pizza oven areas were just great!! We had perfect weather for the fire pit! Totally enjoyed our stay here!

I was hoping for a fenced in area for our dogs but we made it work with leashes. They were happy and seeing the white squirrel made their day! All was clean and stocked as advertised. A note about coffee pot being both carafe and Keurig would be helpful going forward. We loved the place and will definitely recommend to our friends and family!

Excellent hosts and stay

We loved the Laurel Ridge property! It was quiet and had everything we needed for a mountain retreat! Alicia is a wonderful host with great communication! We would love to stay again!

Great Home

Just as listed, the home was clean and had a well stocked kitchen for all our needs. The outside fire pit was nice to unwind to at the end of each hiking day as was the jet tub inside. Loved the cozy couches and beds and large tvs.

Loved this home! So glad we chose it. Privacy was great! Saw deer in the yard every day. Kitchen had all we needed. Very close to town. Beds were comfy. Home was beautiful inside & out! We enjoyed our stay! Hope to visit again soon.

We had an amazing time!!!!! The house is perfect for entertaining. It even has a pizza oven in the outdoor fire area! We loved playing darts while having a fire at night. The beds were very soft. For some who prefer a harder bed that might be a problem. The house is situated in a neighborhood but a quiet part of the neighborhood. We will definitely be back!
