Escape to the Green Mountains at this quintessential, newly-renovated mountain home minutes to Mount Snow. Ensconced in the hills above Dover, this home features four bedrooms, a grand living room with vaulted ceilings, full kitchen, patio, hot tub, and basement game room. Perfect for families, couples, and friends looking for a retreat in Vermont. Entryway includes cubbies for boots, skis, and boards.

Wildlife: This is a home in a rural part of the country. You may see wildlife including deer, coyotes, foxes, and bears. Please be mindful of your surroundings and leaving out food and trash.

Weather: In the winter, there will be snow, ice, and occasional snowstorms. We recommend driving a vehicle with AWD or 4WD. Please drive with caution and be prepared with regards to the ability of your vehicle to drive in the snow.

Power & Internet: This is a rural part of the country. You may lose power or internet during inclement weather. We do not issue refunds for loss of power or internet out of our control.

Air conditioning: There's a total of 5 portable AC units at the house. AC availability is seasonal and depending on weather (late spring and summer). Heating is also seasonal, and depending on weather, available during the cold seasons (autumn-winter).

Pets: We’re happy to welcome your pup to the home. There’s a $150 fee plus tax for the first dog, and $50 plus tax for each additional one. If you’re planning to bring more than three, just check in with us first so we can coordinate with the homeowner. For everyone’s comfort, we kindly ask that dogs stay leashed outdoors and that you clean up after them. Please note that cats aren’t permitted due to allergy concerns. Any pet-related damages may result in additional charges.

Cancellation Policy: We cannot make any exceptions to our cancellation policy. Please consider traveler’s insurance.

Great Family Getaway - As Advertised

Was a good place to stay with the family to get away on a secluded VT hill. House had plenty of room and the kitchen had what we needed. Note that we are a family of 4, with two young kids - the dining table was a hightop and not large, which should be considered if you are a larger group or have infants/ toddlers.

Great house close to Mount Snow

This is a nice home conveniently located 15 mins from Mount Snow. The property is beautiful, with a couple of neighbors close by (but not too close). The neighbors have off leash dogs, who were well behaved. The shower in the bathroom upstairs had a draining issue, but otherwise everything was as listed. The hot tub was new & clean, and we really enjoyed our stay here!

x-mas retreat

location was great. No clear directions were given for usage of homes amenities i.e. fireplace. The wood given was very wet and extremely difficult to light and burn. Hot tub needed to be cleaner and there was no hot tub chemicals on hand for us to put in after use. It would have been nice to have written instructions in one place going over the heat thermostats/general house info as well.

great place but needs a few things

The house is big and modern, the hot tub is a plus as is the pool table. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. Bathrooms were great and the parking was perfect. A garage was an option for parking too. House had great heat and a nice fireplace that really warmed up the whole place. I wish the house was a little more homey and the lighting in the living area was really dim. There should be a dining table big enough for 8 people. The kitchen needs some serving platters and bowls, a better option for making coffee, and some games, or cards would have been great. The dart board is just for show, not a real dart board.

Cozy Mountain Retreat

Our family of seven enjoyed the stay at this roomy Mt. Snow chalet. We found everything to be as specified in their property description. House was clean and it was obvious some upgrades were recently done. We were contacted right after arrival to make sure entry went well and had all we needed. We were close enough to the mountain and the main street eateries. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again. Kitchen was minimally stocked as indicated and only seating for 4 at kitchen table was a bit of a bummer. But plenty of comfortable living room seating. Beds were comfortable, linens were provided and clean. If you are looking to stay in the area, this would be a lovely spot!
