Lonna, we thank you for staying in Sunriver and hopefully enjoyed the perfect Fall weather as well. We appreciated that you took the time to review our home. Reviews are always subjective, but we were a little bewildered by your comments/ratings about our location in relationship to the aquatic facility (pool) and the Village, and we feel that this misrepresents the location of our home. The map on the front page of our VRBO website shows our exact location, as well as drive times to each of your mentioned locations, so we are curious if you had overlooked these details while booking and were seeking a property directly across from the facilities before choosing our home? As stated on the website, we are 4 minutes from the pool and 5 minutes from the Village, but definitely not across the street from either (by design). We chose our home so that visiting families and our grandkids could play safely and not worry about the crazy traffic near those locations. That said, it was clearly a point you felt you needed to mention and we are sorry if this affected the quality of your stay. We felt it odd that you did not open any of our correspondence related to checking in, door code or directions, and yet made this an issue in your communications and review. We take pride in making sure that all of our guests have all the information they need for a successful stay in our home and community, and in return, we have a 10/10 Exceptional rating status. For any future stays, perhaps you would likely be more happy choosing rooms for 6 adults at the Lodge/hotel, and not a private home. All of the amenities are at your fingertips and do not require a walk or drive. We wish you the best with your future visits in Sunriver.
