Not only was this property amazingly affordable, it was clean, conveniently located to the Rumbling Bald amenities, and our host was the most efficient and helpful communicator I’ve ever experienced via VRBO! We had two young families stay for a birthday get together and it was absolutely perfect!

Excellent stay for our golf weekend

The property is as advertised and it was a perfect stay for our golf weekend at Rumbling Bald. We will likely stay here again in the future!

Beautiful cabin

Our group of 8 really enjoyed our night in this modern cabin close to Lake Lure. The kitchen was fully stocked, the hot tub inviting, the covered deck perfect for making s’mores, and the beds so comfortable. We would stay again in a heartbeat!

Great house

The house was exactly as pictured. Everything was clean and very well stocked. The host was very accommodating and very responsive to all of my questions. We would definitely stay here again.

Exceptional Experience

This property was extremely clean, well maintained and provided all of the creature comforts of home. From the personal touches throughout the cabin to the promp responses of the owner we had the best stay possible. We loved the cabin, the atmosphere and the area and are looking forward to another visit.

The cabin is spacious, comfortable and a great place to relax. We especially enjoyed the recliners, reclining sofa and big TV, and the huge windows made the cabin feel especially cozy during a few storms that rolled through. The deck was wonderful, and we even enjoyed grilling outside while it stormed.The kitchen is a little tight for more than one or two people at a time, but it is very well stocked with almost everything you could need. We also really appreciated having a washer and dryer, along with thoughtful supplies like laundry detergent and dishwasher essentials.We went to the pool every day, and it was truly one of the highlights of our stay. The beds were a bit of a mixed bag. Some were comfortable, while a couple could use updating.Communication with the property manager was excellent throughout our stay. Overall, we really enjoyed the cabin, the amenities and our time there.

Friends/Family Reunion

My buddy and I get our families together every few years. We decided to try out Lake Lure this year. The Lake Lure Oasis in the Woods was the perfect place! We had 11 guests to include 4 adults and 7 kids from 3 to 16 years of age. Chris’ place was plenty spacious for us and very clean. Chris was very responsive. Upon arrival, we realized the microwave wasn’t working and Chris had a replacement brought to the house the same day. If you have a large family or friend group this place would be perfect for your visit to Lake Lure.
