Great stay! The house is very peaceful and in a great location, with easy access to both Boone and Banner Elk. We would definitely stay again! A 4x4 vehicle is recommended to make it up the driveway, but once you reach the house, there is plenty of space for parking.

We really enjoyed this place. It was pleasant and peaceful there. There is plenty of cookware, but more cooking utensils would be useful. We'd stay here again.

Perfect Space

Skylark provided an amazing stay! The house was just the right amount of cozy and spacious. And was in the perfect location to downtown Boone while also feeling secluded and in tune with nature. The hot tub was an excellent perk as well!

Birthday Trip

My husband and I and my husband’s best friend chose a NC mountain stay for this annual trip for these men to celebrate their February birthdays. This cabin exceeded our expectations and truly felt like home for the week we stayed there. We enjoyed all of the amenities and would recommend this property to others.

Great cozy cabin!

We had a fantastic stay at Skylark! This cabin was so cozy and was more than enough space for 5 people. The bedrooms are thoughtfully laid out and everyone had their own private space. We loved the firepit and sat by it every night. The property manager was so responsive via text for any questions we had. We loved the location of this cabin and will definitely be back!!

It’s a keeper

Agree with all the good reviews . Excellent place, enjoyed it very much. It should be noted the short road up to Skylark is challenging as is turning around to go back to the highway
