Have stayed here before. Excellent location for fishing and enjoying Hinton. Clean, personal touches, (mmmmmmmm cookies), kitchen fully equipped. Very accommodating host. Will stay stay here again.

We absolutely loved the property and would have booked it longer had we known how beautiful it would be. It was the perfect family getaway. We can’t wait to go back. The hosts were so kind and thoughtful. Mints on the pillows, cookies for the kids, and treats for the pups. It was awesome! We really enjoyed our stay.

Place was as described. Clean and stocked with almost everything you would need, especially home baked cookies. The public boat access is right next door but really didn't bother us though it was used alot. Thanks for a relaxing stay!

This was a lovely cottage along the lake. Hosts were very accommodating. Generous amount of towels & washcloths, homemade cookies, firewood. We loved staying at this cottage.

We stayed for a long weekend here and had a great time. The location was spot on, right next to the new river! The house had everything we needed, with extra things like; two coupons for two bundles of firewood, fire starter, and s'more sticks.

We came to the area to visit the National Park. We had such a great time exploring for 2 days and the best part was returning to this wonderful VRBO! It was so clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the beautiful view of the river and the fire pit in the yard. We were able to cook dinner here because the kitchen was pretty well stocked with anything we needed. Our kids enjoyed the room they had to spread out and the wonderful homemade cookies left for us to eat. This was such a great place and if we are in the area again we will definitely try to stay in this house.

Lovely, comfortable cottage. Welcomed with homemade cookies, a gorgeous sunrise over the river the first morning, and two playful otters in the river our last morning.

Clean and Comfortable

We had a lovely stay. This house is kept immaculately clean and is nicely updated. It is a quiet, calm and peaceful place to return to after a day of hiking in the gorge. If we come back, we would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Setting

This adorable and comfortable home sits on the New River at the southern end of the New River National Park. The location is convenient to countless beautiful sites.

Cottage get away

Very happy with our stay! Home was clean and had great views of the river. Highly recommended, the occasional train added some character to the stay. Enjoy the fresh chocolate chip cookies

Relaxing

Cottage was very clean and welcoming. We really enjoyed sitting on the deck - the view of the river and surrounding mountains was very relaxing. Would definetely recommend!

Great stay!

Loved this little house! It was stocked with everything, even homemade fresh cookies for all of us! Right on the river, such a beautiful view and 3 good sized bedrooms. We had a great time!

Weekend getaway

This was the cleanest and well managed property we have ever stayed at. Communication was great with the owners and it was a perfect location! Hoping to make it a yearly thing!
