Outstanding views of Lake Michigan and very relaxing to sit outside. Sunroom was a great place to relax and watch the boats come by. Quiet neighborhood and we walked through the neighborhood many times. It was only the two of us but the only drawback are the two bedrooms had only twin beds, so for more adults, it would not be optimal. Walking distance to downtown and we have visited the area for many years. We will come back.

Very nice ranch home, which works well for my husband and me, as we are older. We so enjoyed the lake view and different shades of blue in the water. One thing surprised me when I saw two swans gracefully swimming along. I thought they stuck to smaller lakes. Lots of fun watching the boats and jet skis. There was three days of erosion mediation going on next door while we were there. Very noisy, yet interesting to watch. The only thing I would say about the cleanliness of the house was that there was quite a bit of dog hair on the furniture and floors. Could have done without that. All in all, nothing is perfect, and we rent this house again in the future.

Check in process was very easy. Appreciated quick and clear communication from the host. The house had some updates since the listing photos which were nice. It was more spacious than we expected. The backyard area was fantastic with a beautiful view. The town of New Buffalo was mostly shut down for a few days after Labor Day which was a bummer, but obviously no fault of the host.

New Buffalo is great! This house is on a good spot just outside of the main city. Beach access is pretty limited so you pretty much have to go to the public beach about a mile away. The beds are a little small but comfortable.We stayed in early July 2026.

I enjoyed the stay. 3 minute car ride to town, hot tub was great and offered a perfect view of the sunset. There is a little beach access .2 miles down the road.

Great little getaway!

Great location, right on Lake Michigan. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets, shops and restaurants within walking diatance. Will definitely stay again!

Beautiful getaway spot

W loved the views from the house, the cozy sunroom, and had everything we needed! Hot tub, gas"Wood" stove and outdoor fire pit with wood provided were just perfect our mid-November visit. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a fantastic stay at this property in New Buffalo! The November weather cooperated and we had amazing views of the lake. Great property and great location.
