I consider myself a seasoned traveler. I am on the road 40 weeks a year and stay at the nicer hotel chains. So I feel confident when I say the condo was amazing and exceeded my expectations. The management team was helpful and responsive. The location was perfect, steps from the beach and a penthouse upper floor view to die for. The condo was nicely decorated and appointed. You will not be disappointed! We will likely stay here next year if available.

A couple of the faucets had loose parts and had some difficulty trying to figure out how to use the TV because there were 5 or 6 remotes. Called Emerald Isles for assistance. The lady was very pleasant and helpful.

The unit is beautiful! It was clean and the furniture was very comfortable. When registering for parking we were told this unit has an assigned parking space! How nice! Management was very responsive when we had a minor issue. Management checked-in several times to see if we needed anything. There were many small things added to the unit for convenience (multiple hooks for towels in the bathroom). Sadly all 4 adults found the beds to be too firm for our sleeping pleasure (totally personal preference).

Love location. Nice stay. Would recommend owner invest in newer cookware and couple storage containers. Also, could not get fridge icemaker to work. We arrived after hours and called number on office door, left voicemail on call that stated would call back immediately. Have yet to get that call 5 days later.

We’ve stayed at Emerald Isle before and the views from the balconies are beautiful. This particular unit is not an actual penthouse since it’s not on the top floor. But the condo is spacious. Beds are comfortable. The kids liked their room.The only thing we didn’t like was that the main couch was stained and dirty. We put a blanket on top of it to feel comfortable sitting on it. The chairs at the counter and dining room were stained, too. And the outdoor patio couch was stained and dirty. The unit itself had clean floors, surfaces and bathrooms - but the walls and doors need cleaning desperately. We cleaned the doors in the bathrooms and the wall in the hallway bathroom because they were kinda gross to look at and touch. I would recommend this condo for the price but I would only stay here again if I couldn’t get the unit we’ve stayed in before because that one was immaculate.
