Great little escape, cozy, clean and pet friendly. The personal beach was great and i enjoyed reading or doing puzzles in the morning room while listening to the waves crashing. Lots of pillows and throws for a warm cozy time given temps went from mid-80s to 50s!! Thank you for the delightful break we would love to visit again in the quiet seasons! Cheers!

Having the private beach was awesome! Loved the ‘outlook chair’ as it was a great perch to having my morning coffee and watch the sunrise! The house had a cozy feel and the host/hostess was very responsive to questions even after check in. My family enjoyed the location on the Bay side of the island.

It was our annual family trip and it isn’t always easy to find pet friendly. This place was fantastic and the host’s communication was top notch. We loved the atmosphere and the neighbors were so friendly. We would absolutely visit again. Thank you

The house and beach are just as pictured! The beach is absolutely beautiful. The neighborhood is quiet and the speed limit is under 10 so it’s safe for littles and pets. I would definitely recommend this rental and will be back myself!

Cottage on the Island.

We have enjoyed 2 stays at the cottage. It is a wonderful location and the owners have been great and are very thoughtful. The beach is perfect, and we love the neighborhood. We can't wait to visit again!

Fantastic house and location for a relaxing family vacation!

Planning a family vacation this year we were looking for relaxing and beach. This property has it in spades, and is well stocked and supplied for any visit! The property owners went above and beyond to make sure our vacation was stressfree. Would recommend this property to anyone!

Cottage on the Bay in August 2023

Very nice cottage on the island. A great place to relax and unwind. Beautiful view and peaceful location. We had wonderful weather and enjoyed our stay. We would love to visit this cottage again!

This house was perfect! Exactly as described! Great communication, easy check-in, and super clean. We had everything we needed and then some! The sand on the private beach was soft and the water was great for swimming. We went crabbing off the back dock and watched the waves from the front fire pit. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful home. We hope to be able to visit again!

Beautiful, relaxing getaway!

We absolutely LOVED this place! The house was cozy and welcoming, and the sunroom was a favorite spot to put on a record and curl up in the recliner and read, with a pretty view of the beach. The private beach was a perfect swimming spot, and we also went antiquing in nearby surrounding areas. This is such a peaceful and beautiful gem away from all of the traffic of the more "touristy" areas. We hope to come back next year!

Gwynn’s Island Gem

Property just as described…very cute and comfortable. Loved the amenities provided!!! The private beach was awesome and it was right across the street making it easy for using the kayaks or for going fishing. Plus the location is only an hour away if you want to visit Busch Gardens and even less to Yorktown. Would definitely book this property again.

Perfect stay

This beach cottage had absolutely every little touch to make our stay comfortable. The decorations are cute, but tasteful, and I especially appreciated the library of available books. The private beach is ideal for a peaceful vacation, and the backyard with dock gave us a fascinating view of the crabs and other local wildlife. The owners were very communicative and responsive to every need and even left treats for our dogs. It is just a wonderful place!

Great Getaway

The property and cottage were as advertised. We really enjoyed our week there. Very peaceful, quiet and relaxing. The owners were very responsive and helpful with all of our questions and concerns. Would absolutely recommend to family and friends, will consider staying there again. The one thing that I think would make for a better stay would be a nice grill.

Little slice of heaven!

The house is just a depicted & very clean. It was super cozy & inviting. The private beach was wonderful & the kayaks were great! We had fun playing vorn he in the backyard.All in all, a great vacation!! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Amazing views loved waking up at dawn to see sunrise baiting my fishing pole then go make my morning coffee then return to beach to fish I could go on and on we wanna go back and are planning our next stay hope you will have us thank you sincerely the Rossi family
