The Space:
Black Bear Lodge is a Lake Access, 4 bedroom, 3 full bathroom modern and comfortable place to unwind and reconnect with nature. Don’t be surprised to see deer around the cabin (we regularly feed our local nature friends) and wake to natural lighting throughout.

UNWIND IN OUR STYLISH COMFORTABLE BEDROOMS!

Inside the cabin, you’ll find a master bedroom on the upper floor with an en-suite bathroom and separate living room area with a lake view balcony. There’s a guest bedroom on the main floor just off the kitchen with easy access to a full bathroom with a tub/shower. Two guest bedrooms are on the ground floor with one bedroom with a queen bed and the other bedroom with a twin over full bunk bed and a twin size trundle.

All of our bedrooms feature internet connected Roku HDTVs, Nectar memory foam mattresses, and high-end linens, and bath towels.

The open concept design of the main floor boasts a relaxing living room with access to the large 28’ lake view deck (Outdoor Living Room set up coming Early May), a spacious dining area, and a custom kitchen well equipped for entertaining your group.

ENJOY NATURE AND WORK FROM HOME WITH OUR PROFESSIONAL WIFI NETWORK!

You’ll find the Wifi internet amazing for Stay-At- Home remote working. Throughout the cabin, we’ve installed wireless access points, and all of our 7x Roku HDTVs a wired to the internet to stream your favorites.

ENJOY THE NATURAL ELEMENTS, LARGE STONE WALLS, HOT TUB AND STONE FIRE PIT!

Outside, you’ll enjoy relaxing in the large 7-Person Hot Tub (the largest hot tub available in the Deep Creek Lake area) and we’ve even included towels for your stay. The redesigned outdoor lighting can be easily controlled with 7 light switches inside. Light up your night with 11 exterior lights and 250’ of sting lighting or dim it down with a bon fire on the large 8’ stone found in the hillside and flame light bulbs.

Guest Access:
Guests are assigned access codes that activate at your check in time and deactivates at your check out time. There are 2 smart locks at our two main entrances.

4WD/AWD or snow tires are highly recommended for accessing Black Bear Lodge during the Winter months of November - March. Our main access to our large parking area is off Sloan Tract Rd which is a dirt road approximately ¼ mile from Lake Shore Dr.

The Neighborhood:
Conveniently located minutes to Deep Creek Lake attractions, and Lake Access just 350 feet from the cabin to the water & beach area, you’ll find yourself relaxed by nature by a quick drive, walk, or bike ride to nearby favorites.

Getting Around:
Enjoy walking around the area enjoying nature. There are limited transportation services in the Deep Creek Lake area.

Other Things to Note:
We're surrounded by nature. It's part of the experience offered at Black Bear Lodge and the Deep Creek Lake area. It's not uncommon to see wildlife like Deer, Squirrels, Chipmunks, Snakes, Mice, Rabbits, Birds, Bees, Ants, Spiders, etc.

Phone service is very limited up in the mountains. We've got high quality WifI that allows you to make wifi-enabled calls, along with a landline for any emergencies.

GUEST LINENS & TOWELS PROVIDED:
Guests are provided our premium linens as part of your stay at no additional cost! Includes bed comforters, fitted sheets, top sheets, and 4 sleeping pillow cases for our Full, Queen, & King Beds (2 Sleep Pillows for twin beds)Comforters are provided. We also provide 2 bath towels, 1 hand towel. 1 wash cloth per guest. 10 Hot Tub Towels are provided too.

GUEST SERVICE AGREEMENT
Guest service agreement is automatically sent after booking and includes additional details about your stay. We allow 48-hour free cancellation policy for you review of our rental agreement after booking unless you booked the reservation less than 2 weeks prior.

PRIMARY GUEST must be at least 21 years of age to rent Black Bear Lodge and no one will be given the access code to a property that is under the age of 21.

GROUP EVENTS, FAMILY GATHERINGS, BRIDAL GROUPS...
Groups, events, family gatherings, bridal groups are welcome as long as the max occupancy is not exceeded, no parties, or disruption to neighbors and nearby residents. We want you to enjoy yourself and at the same time respecting the property and neighbors and residents.

HOSTING GROUP EVENTS & FAMILY GATHERINGS
We allow guests staying to host group events or family gatherings. PRIOR APPROVAL IS REQUIRED and additional fees may be charged. You must provide details about the group or family event prior to check in. Only 10 Guests are allowed to stay the night. NO PARTIES.

In the event a rental has been secured in violation of these restrictions, we reserve the right to terminate the rental, effective immediately, and to remove the group from the property, without refund of any payment.

PET FRIENDLY PROPERTY POLICY:
Black Bear Lodge is a pet friendly property. There is a nonrefundable fee of $150 for EACH PET registered to stay during a reservation. Guests are required to clean ANY mess from their pet inside & outside the cabin. Damage insurance DOES NOT COVER pet damage & guests are responsible for any extra cleaning as a result of pet hair, messes, damage or issue caused by the registered pet. Not registering your pet is a violation of our house rules & subject to termination of the reservation without refund.

DAMAGE INSURANCE WAIVER:
To truly enjoy a vacation, most people don’t want to worry about the occasional drink spill or scuff on the wall, so IN LIEU OF A SECURITY DEPOSIT, Nolen Vacation Rentals offers a non-refundable damage waiver fee that excuses you from accidental damage to the home, which covers up to a maximum limit of $10,000 per home (all accidental damage should be reported immediately). This fee is in addition to the rent. Upon receipt of the damage waiver fee, the owner will release the guest from liability for accidental damage up to $10,000.
