The house was clean and the kitchen was well equipped. Quiet, relaxing location with great views of the lake.

Top notch

This was a lovely house just as described. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and such. It was spacious with plenty of room for our group of 6, but could easily fit more people. The only downside was the property by the lake. It was overgrown and not well cared for. If it had been summer there’d be nowhere to sit and enjoy the lake without sitting amongst the weeds.

Highlights: bird-watching/wildlife viewing from the deck and living room! Spacious gathering areas. Well-equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds.Lowlights: while the primary bedroom suite was quite spacious, the other bedrooms ranged from small to cramped; this was not apparent in the photos. There is some mold in the basement, not uncommon in lake homes, but it discouraged us from using the ping pong table. The home is older than it appears in photos and needs some maintenance and updating (especially the carpets.)

Wonderful experience staying right on the lake. Being from out of state, it was a beautiful view that we will treasure for years.

Hosts were friendly and helpful, but property could use some TLC. House had a musty smell, and was not the cleanest upon arrival. Had to clean most of our dishes before using them. There was no AC, just fans. Exterior landscaping could use some cleanup. Dock had not been installed yet upon our arrival, so we had to back our boats down the narrow driveway as there is hardly any space to back it around at the house. Dock was installed the next day, but it was super inconvenient to not be able to launch our boats upon arrival.
