You are in for a treat with this newly available 3-story townhouse developed in the historic brick Union Building. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms provide a comfortable arrangement for 2 couples. The kitchen is well-appointed. The primary bedroom has a great set-up for a work-away-from-home stay. The rooftop patio is the perfect place to take in the scenery of the waterfront and Washington hills, warm yourself by the firepit with morning coffee or an afternoon cocktail. The location is a walk away from everything downtown including restaurants, coffee spots, wine tasting, breweries, shops, library, bookstore, a nature trail, beauty care, and local health care. NOTES: Only one compact car can maneuver the very tight turn into the SHARED GARAGE.Maximum capacity for 6 adults. The upper deck, open staircases and landings make this space unsuitable for children. There are train tracks that run next to the building.

Overall, we had a nice stay. There were complications with the parking and Amy resolved, however, I would recommend just giving renters a parking pass as it caused a bit of stress worrying about getting a ticket. The description should be a lot clearer about the train noise and frequency (a lot!). There were lots of amenities and things were well stocked and good location.

Lovely condo. Beds were really comfortable. It is right on the railroad track though, so be prepared. Otherwise, great location. In town and an easy walk to the waterfront.

Great stay. Location is phenomenal. Everything was as expected and we'd stay again. The primary bedroom is right on the railroad tracks as listed, but at least the train doesn't sound the horn. We did move to the other bedroom for the last evening and slept straight through.

Union Place Townhouse

Great location within walking distance to anything and everything Hood River has to offer. Amy was very responsive to any questions we had. It is very close to the train tracks, so can be a bit noisy at times, but overall we had a great stay!

Beautiful place

This is a beautiful place that was is a great downtown location. Plan on parking on the street unless you are driving a very small vehicle. Parking that’s free is just down the street so no big deal. Only knock on the place is the train that goes by in the middle of the night

Hood River Experience

Everything about our stay was fantastic. We enjoyed our condo immensely. It is perfect for two couples. A SUV fit in the garage. Parking could be problematic for 2nd car because of three hour time limits for on street parking. We loved the roof-top; what a view!

Beautiful Loft

We enjoyed our stay at the Union lofts. The property was very clean and spacious. Our only complaint is that we could not find a sharp knife anywhere! Only butter knives. Thanks so much!

Wedding weekend

We had a fabulous trip to Hood for a wedding. The property is so central to everything and although it’s right on train tracks it wasn’t an issue at all. My husband is a light sleeper and the windows are well insulated and wasn’t an issue. House is well equipped and very comfortable

We throughly enjoyed our stay at the beautiful townhouse/condo for the most part. The layout is nice, and setting is great! Although, the bathroom for the bedroom on the main level is hardly big enough to brush your teeth or wash your face as it is so tiny. The most challenging part was being absolutely ON TOP of the train track. It runs all night long and can be heard from every bedroom and living spaces, day and night. I did not see anything about the train track on the listing. Given the great location, it was a good place to stay.

Beautiful Modern Townhouse

Beautiful modern townhouse within walking distance of multiple excellent restaurants, recreation paths, water and trails. The property was clean, bright and had everything we needed. We appreciated the high ceilings and large windows and that not every room was filled with massive television as centerpiece. There is limited street parking, the driveway and garage were a bit tight and the train runs right by regularly but it didn’t disrupt our stay. Checkin was easy. Thank you!

It is in a great location. Places to eat and brewies are nearby and many choices. Very walkable. Nice view especially from rooftop where there is a gas fire pit. Nice living room and kitchen. Lovely master suite and 2 small bedrooms There are stairs and would not work for people with mobility issues or small children. .Logistics: Hood River doesn’t have Uber and one taxi. There is parking provided for one compact car. You can park overnight on the street for free but need to pay in daytime.

It was a great place with great location for walking to downtown Hood River as well as driving to nearby locations. The place was clean and enjoyable. We even cooked several times and had no issues. Items to take note: the listing says shared garage and small car to fit in the garage. We had a larger SUV and was able to fit in the garage with a lot of adjustments to get in and get out. The driveway is narrow so it can be done but we had people outside to ensure the car was clear of everything. Also, the door between garage and house has a loose lock and it was locked once without us knowing. Unfortunately we left key inside the house. Amy was super quick to get the caretaker to let us in, he said it’s not the first time this happened; so take the key with you. Also the proximity of the train was close but never interfered with sleep. Definitely would return!

The two queen bed rooms are pretty small, which is fine, just helpful to know. The downstairs queen bedroom needs to share the upstairs bathroom or the bathroom in the master bedroom.
