The condo was in a great location, easily walking distance to a restaurant, general supply store, coffee/ice cream shop, liquor store. The beach was easy to access right outside, view from the condo was fantastic. The pool looked clean (we did not use it though). The condo was nicely decorated and the furniture comfortable, the bed was great. The condo was quiet for sleeping. The owners responded quickly to questions.

Property was good for just the two of us. I would not recommend it for more than 2 people unless you have very small children. It was small but clean. The patio furniture is dated and could be replaced and the ants were horrible. My biggest complaint is with VRBO. They should give a full refund to people who are forced to evacuate. That situation is beyond anyone’s control. Insurance or not, we did not have a choice but leave. It was a very long drive for us and quite disappointing that VRBO did not reach out to offer a refund. Chris, the owner was amazing! He went over and beyond for us.

Glad us, the owners, were great but goodness one star on our property because you don't like VRBO. That only hurts us as the owners, not VRBO!

We had a wonderful stay at The Captain’s Quarters. The location was perfect, the views were beautiful, and the condo was clean and comfortable. It was the perfect size and setup for us. Communication with the owners was good, and we appreciated all the thoughtful touches throughout. The walk-in shower was a big plus since I despise tubs, and it was perfect. It made for a relaxing Gulf Shores getaway, and we would definitely stay again.

Fantastic View!

If you love a view of the Gulf, and are close to Gulf Shores, this is a very nice place to stay. My wife and I were looking for a last minute vacation and found this place. We were not disappointed. The only drawback was the pots and pans were in bad shape, but there are some nice diners in the area. I would be happy to stay here again.

Beautiful decor. Problem with sand in bedroom, clogged up sink, toilet. Cleanliness of furniture on balcony. No warning about construction at 8 in the morning, banging noise and jackhammers and other disturbing noises during day. A
