The only things I had an issue with was not having a washer & dryer. I don’t expect to go to a laundry mat on my vacation. Lastly we couldn’t find the remote to the a/c so I called the realtor to see if they could help me & still haven’t gotten a call back. Other than that it was a wonderful cottage style that we loved & would like to return soon.

Fenced in yard for the dogs was perfect snd they had a blast. Being able to look out and see the water way was awesome as well. Small cottage but perfect for the two of us and two dogs. Relaxing and quiet neighborhood. Will for sure book again.

When I saw the original listing, I was SOLD on it. Looked BEAUTIFUL. On the water - 2 Kayaks just amazing. When I pulled up to the home, I was surprised as it did not look at all like the photo. A bit overgrown Bush off the Deck - the Kayaks seemed to not have cleaned or used for a long time. The home does not have central air - has a air unit in the window which did it's job but it was very loud. The location of the house is 1.5 miles from the actual beach - not a hard walk if you like to walk and an easy bike ride. There is a lovely path that crosses the bridge which was GREAT. We enjoyed the stay - loved the private Pier and the QUIET of the homes location. The inside of the home is nicely decorated but it needs some TLC. All in all it was a nice visit to a new place.

This property met and exceeded our expectations. We COULD have used more than one bath towel for the two of us, and washcloths would have been nice, but since I always overpack it was not a problem. We really thought we had found our repeat rental and were devastated to hear the future plans for this property. This is a unique small rental that is perfect for a couple that is looking for a quiet restful vacation away from it all. We plan to return for several days in the fall before demolition and new construction ruins it.

Great location and view. Great for our dog, plenty of yard to run around in. Loved the dock/swing. Within walking distance to coffee shop/breakfast and dinner.

A little haven on earth.

This place is great the home was very clean the yard is great for pets loved the fenced in area very big. The view fantastic looking on the water way the moon light was to die for. The beach is just right down the road and the shopping stores right around the corner restaurants as well. My husband and I will go and stay there again for sure.

Fantastic Experience

We love the house (clean and renovated), the fenced backyard (for our dogs), the location (close to everything and nice neighbors), and the quick response (we needed one thing and it got delivered quickly). We would love to come back here for our next vacation!

A great spot, dog friendly and close to everything!

Cut short by the hurricane but was great overall! Location right on the water, our dog loved the fenced yard. We were close to everything we needed. Highly recommend to anyone looking to get away.

Great stay

We had a great stay! This place had everything we needed and more. We enjoyed the dock. There were some lightbulbs out in the bathroom and kitchen but was not a big deal. We loved the view and the quiet. We will be back!

Thanksgiving Trip With Pups

Husband and I booked the cottage with our dogs to visit family for Thanksgiving week. The fenced in yard and beautiful views made for a relaxing time for all. Cottage is clean, comfortable and very cozy. We will book again on any future trips to the area.

Perfect anniversary getaway for two!

We enjoyed a nice weekend getaway. The perfect little home for two. JM's on the water and Sears Landing made for the perfect date night spots just minutes away from the house. Enjoyed watching the sunrise in the mornings and beautiful sunsets at night. A truly enjoyable place to stay.

Perfect getaway

Location, clean,the view was marvelous, bush by deck could use a trim. The fenced in yard was a real plus. We enjoyed our stay very much. I would highly recommend staying here. Watching the bay was so relaxing. We even got to see a dolphin .

Perfection on the water!

The pictures don’t do this little hideaway justice! It was beyond perfect for me and my pup! It’s right on the water and close to the beaches! The house had everything you’d need and more! I will most definitely book again!

Great start to 2024

We had a wonderful time in Surf City with our pups. The accommodations were as described and everything was neat and clean. Our dogs loved the yard. We highly recommend.
