Questo affascinante ed elegante, splendidamente ristrutturato cottage sulla spiaggia del 1920 si trova a 2 isolati dalla Carpinteria State Beach, 1 isolato dalla Carpinteria Salt Riserva Naturale Palude, ea pochi isolati dal cuore della città. Noleggio biciclette, beach carro, sedie a sdraio, boogie board e freddi fanno di una divertente giornata in spiaggia senza sforzo. Risciacquare la giornata nella nostra acqua calda, doccia esterna quando si torna.

Siamo stati onorati di avere le nostre case (# 336069 e # 248884) scelti per riempire la categoria 'Little Gem' di Carpinteria della bella annuale Home and Garden Tour nel mese di aprile del 2012. Erano anche presenti in inverno edizione di Carpinteria Magazine del 2010.

Le caratteristiche casolare arredamento di buon gusto e di arredo, pavimenti in legno rifiniti throughtout, Calore centrale, ventilatori a soffitto nelle camere da letto e tutti i comfort di casa. Bella, dipinti originali di artisti locali ornano le pareti. C'è una camera con un letto matrimoniale e un altro con un letto a castello con un due sulla parte superiore e un letto pieno sul fondo. Una bella terrazza nel cortile con un tavolo da pranzo all'aperto è il luogo perfetto per una cena al tramonto. Il cottage è ben arredato e molto confortevole. C'è una cucina completamente aggiornato con ripiani in pietra e elettrodomestici nuovi, tra cui una lavastoviglie, forno a microonde e macchina del ghiaccio. Troverete anche una lavatrice e asciugatrice per la vostra convenienza. Offriamo una libreria di DVD, Apple TV e internet wireless. Giochi e libri sono nell'armadio per i giorni miti intorno alla casa.

La zona circostante è molto tranquillo ei vicini sono amichevoli. Ci sono diversi negozi di antiquariato e meravigliosi ristoranti raggiungibili a piedi, così come percorsi naturalistici e di bird watching un isolato di distanza. Oppure, salire su moto e testa in città! Giovedì pomeriggio offrono un Farmers Market fresca. La città di Santa Barbara è a breve distanza e ospita uno zoo, musei, shopping, golf, eventi d'arte, giardini botanici, la Regina delle Missioni, degustazione di vini e molto altro! Sosta a Summerland per antiquing grande, poi glamour, celebrità pieno Montectio lungo la strada.

La nostra casa offre un luogo incantevole in cui soggiornare durante la vostra vacanza. Rendere la vostra casa lontano da casa!

The two adjacent cottages are the perfect place for two families to meet up. The cottages are comfortable, beachy, and welcoming! The landscaping and outdoor spaces are beautifully landscaped. We will definitely want to stay again!

Amazing accommodations and location. We parked our car and did not drive anywhere until we checked out. Beach and Linden Avenue less than 2 blocks from the cottage. Great restaurants and shops with in walking distance. The cottage is vey clean and ample space outside to sit and enjoy the setting. Our family want to make this an annual trip to the cottage and Carpinteria.

Incredible bungalow

My tween and I stayed here for the week and had a blast! The easy walk to the beach and downtown was perfect! My daughter loved the tide pools and bodyboarding; I loved the gorgeous calming house and sense of peace.Highly recommend and we will be back!

We loved everything about our stay. Clean, beautiful, and comfortable. Great location for the beach and cute restaurants. We stayed for my son’s college graduation and I wish we had found this place sooner - we loved it so much!

Ideal Getaway

Our stay was so peaceful and pleasant at this cozy beach house. Everything was as expected and made it so easy to relax and enjoy the area. We loved the easy walking for coffee shops, restaurants and exercise. The host was super responsive when we asked about recommendations. In the cottage was a large binder that offered so many helpful hints and ideas to make the most of the area. We really loved everything about our stay.

Perfect Beach Cottage

It was absolutely perfect! Great location. Everything we needed was in the cottage. So well decorated - like walking into a Serena and Lily catalog. Check - in and out was easy and Kat was very helpful with questions I had before arrival. I hope to be able to come back to this cottage again. I highly recommend it!

Beautiful. Very newly remodeled.

This home was absolutely beautiful. So many personal touches that made our stay very enjoyable. The beds are great and the decor was perfect. It’s very newly renovated and is absolutely gorgeous. Even the outside was immaculate. We left there wanting to buy it and plan weekend getaways there. lol.

Perfect Location

This property is the perfect location in Carp. Walking distance to the train station, restaurants/shops, and beach. It’s a great spot if you are booking with another family, because the other property is adjacent and makes it easy for kids and families to hang out. The host even gave us early/late check in/out. My only suggestion would to please have shampoo and conditioner available. We will definitely book again.

Great location. Lovely relaxed vibe.

The cottage is updated 1920s vintage and both the home and yard are super charming. Great location for walking everywhere and perfect chill vibe. Central to the beach and eateries. Not huge and not for a rowdy crowd but perfect for our grown family of 5 to chill together since kids are fine with bunking together. Bring your own coffee and creamer if you like it asap in the morning. Coffee makers provided. Kat was very responsive and accommodating. We had an excellent time. Definitely would stay again.

California in September

The place was generally clean, however spiders were abundant. The biggest problem was that there was a lot of street construction during the weekdays that started early in the morning with noise, dust and no privacy. The construction was ongoing on the streets surrounding the front and the side of the house which was at street level. We did not know about the construction otherwise we would not have booked, this fact should have been shared with us. We wanted to sleep in but we could not and the noise of construction trucks and equipment continued until the early afternoon, this very important fact was likely intentionally omitted and this was not right, this deprived us of ability to find a better place where we could have rested and enjoyed our vacation.

I'm sorry you didn't have a good experience due to the road work. The Public Works Dept provided a 4 week window of when they may be doing the work. The scope of the work and actual dates it would occur were not provided. That is why you weren't notified - I did not know it would be during the time of your stay, nor that the work would be extensive. The information was not intentionally withheld. I have a stellar rating as a host and would never intentionally subject my guests to a stay that may be unpleasant. If you'd like to return at a discounted rate one day I'd be happy to host you again for a more peaceful experience by the sea.

Our family bought 2 neglected, unloved cottages on one lot 1 1/2 blocks from the beach. We expertly and extensively refurbished them throughout, upgrading EVERYTHING and making them very livable and lovely. We love to share them with people that will appreciate the quality and care we put into our charming cottages. (SEE VRBO 248884 for the other cottage).

Perché ha scelto questa struttura

Being in Carpinteria is like stepping back in time. It's a classic Southern California beach town that has retained is relaxed and easy charm. Life is mellow in Carp. The beach is amazing and there are many good restaurants nearby. We live in nearby Santa Barbara.

Cosa rende unica questa struttura

We love to spend the day at the beach, walk home for a nap, then clean up and walk into town for a cocktail at Sly's or a yummy dinner at Corktree Cellars. Watching the kids swim to the platforms and splash around with all of the other kids always puts a smile on my face. Morning bird watching at the Salt Marsh is the perfect way to start the day.
