The panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean unfold before you, a mesmerizing backdrop that greets you from the moment you arrive.
As you step into the house, the first thing that catches your eye is the majestic Haystack Rock, visible from every room. The property is embraced by towering Sitka Spruce trees and exudes a quiet and retreat-like atmosphere, providing an ideal escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
For nature enthusiasts, trails leading to Crescent Beach are 5-10 minutes away, offering a chance to explore the pristine coastline at your own pace. Keep your eyes peeled, as elk frequently meander through the property, adding a touch of wildlife magic to your stay. The nearby 360-acre Tareen Filgas Ecola Ridge nature sanctuary is a haven for birdwatchers, enhancing the natural beauty that envelops the property.
Perfect for two couples, four friends, or a small family of four, the house is limited to four overnight guests (children 0-2 years old don't count in the max number of four guests). We've included a pack-n-play to help make your family vacation hassle-free.
Had enough of the natural beauty? A 20-minute walk will take you to the charming town of Cannon Beach, where you can explore local shops, cafes, and art galleries. The Chocolate Cafe serves up truffles and amazing hot chocolate, Sleepy Monk coffee is some of the best in the world, Bill's Tavern has live music on Thursday nights. The Driftwood and Public Coast serve up excellent lunch and dinner fare. Multiple wine bars line Hemlock street as well.
For those seeking relaxation, the property is equipped with a sauna, perfect for unwinding after a day of coastal exploration.

We live at the house most of the year, but in the summer we like to travel. Doug is a teacher at a local high school and Cortney works a remote job, which allows us to spend most of our time on the Oregon Coast. We love it here!
Surfing and hiking is what we do on our free time and there seems to be an endless supply of waves and trails.

This is a quiet neighborhood with wonderful people all around. We live just outside of town so there are tons of trees and trails, but town is a 5-minute drive or a quick 20-25 minute walk away.

Even though the town of Cannon Beach can be hectic during the summer, our house is nestled in the hills just north of town and is removed from most of the bustle tourism brings. What's left for you is trees, trails and views.
A nearby trail gets you down to Crescent Beach and other secret beaches between Cannon Beach and Ecola State Park. The land just the north of our property is a 360-acre protected bird sanctuary.
