Fabulous house

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed our time there. Lovely location and well-equipped house. The rental company was great to work with and the location was very clean. Our only suggestion is some comfortable chairs for the outside deck.

The property matched the photos perfectly and was plenty spacious for a family of five (four adults and one teen). The view and location can't be beat. We had an issue with a down gas line for the first few days, but the owner remained in regular communication and had it take care of as soon as possible. I'd highly recommend.

Amazing home with the best view in Cannon Beach! The home was easy to find and very private. Beds were comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed, fireplace was nice in the evening. The views are spectacular and we even had visits from the Elk and we saw bunnies frequently. Quick walk down to the beach to check out the tide pools. We will definitely stay here again!

Beautiful location for a memorable getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The views and the beach access made this weekend, an extraordinary one. We also enjoyed seeing the elk on the beach and in the woods. Easy walking to restaurants and shops. The cabin can be quirky with doors that won’t stay shut, but that adds to the charm of the place.

Great location facing Haystack Rocks, walkable around Cannon Beach. Easy check-in with pin code—plenty of firewood. The main bedroom is colder. No shampoo, conditioner, or body wash provided—well-equipped kitchen. The balcony lacks a table/chairs. Washer/dryer great; bring drying sheet. The house shows its age with peeling paint and spots, but it's good for a short stay.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: For twelve years, four of us have thoroughly enjoyed Neilson's. No matter the weather, we never tire of the view overlooking Haystack Rock, the Needles, the waves, ever-changing tides and the wildlife. It is spectacular! Photos simply do not do it justice. This year we were treated to up close visits by a pod of pelicans at Haystack. The cottage is perfectly appointed. Modern conveniences and historic charm have been combined thoughtfully and very successfully. From seating to sleeping, the comfort level of Neilson's is A+. We are looking forward to 2027!
