Disappointed
We enjoyed Nashville but the place was not what we expected for the money we paid. Pros: upgraded kitchen & bath and the jacuzzi (even though it took 5 hours not 2 as described the first night we tried to use it). Cons: limited bath towels and blankets. We were each given 1 towel and 1 wash rag and no pillow cases, only shams. We ended up having to do laundry since we had to use the towels for the hot tub too. Broken indoor and outdoor lights along with no electricity in one of the bedrooms upon arrival. Maintenance fixed the lighting but the electrical problem never got fixed. Floors were not thoroughly cleaned as we had black on our feet/socks the first night. There is nothing to do around the area except a restaurant here and there. Fine if you intend to go to Nashville everyday. Our hopes were to have a day closer to the place for a change which wasn’t possible, anything to do always required an Uber ride. The worst part of our experience was the complete lack of follow-up by the owner. Their responses were delayed and it required me having to call when not hearing from them. No one ever came to fix the electricity the second time or followed up on the problems that we had addressed. First time ever in a VRBO that I’ve had to give a bad review and that’s unfortunate. Issues come up with places, it’s how the owner responds that will make or break the experience you have. Hopefully this will help for better preparation of the next guests.
