We were there mid-summer and expected great views of the sunsets over Flathead Lake, as the title of this place implies. There were only limited views of the lake and no views of the sunsets. Too many trees in the way. Also, the place needs better AC. A couple portable units are not doing the job on a hot day.

quiet and great views

Remote area on the pointe of the south end of lake. Perfect ride into Polson for food and lake activity. House was clean and had all the amenities required to have a relaxing carefree stay. Would recommend highly.

Very comfortable cabin with thoughtful touches. Private, wooded location with a breathtaking view of the lake and even an osprey nest! Master suite is very nice. Second bedroom in the main house is perfect for kids. The deck needs work and is a bit of a hazard for anyone who might have issues walking. Overall, very nice place to enjoy Flathead Lake.

Our first day was stressful due to the heat. The high temps were 90. After realizing the house wasn't equipped with air conditioning, we found two cooling units and promptly turned them on. However, the warm air was venting out the back as the cool air came out the front, and when we arrived back from the lake, the house was 88-90 degrees inside. After messaging the host we were told that there should be hoses to vent the air, but they were missing. After rigging up the units to vent out the windows as best we could, we were able to sleep. The heat wasn't an issue after that. We also used the fans provided. We enjoyed the deck (although it's badly in need of a new coat of paint), the grill, and the well equipped kitchen. We also enjoyed watching the sunset from the deck and the picture windows. The couch is super comfortable, as are the beds. There is a cute coffee bar that includes both a drip pot & Keurig, with pods, tea, hot chocolate, creamer, sugar and more. Wildlife in the area is amazing, and after that first day we had a great time.

Beautiful Sunsets

They were not wrong when they listed that the sunsets were beautiful at this home! We had a lovely stay up on the hill! The home was well equipped-so many ways to make coffee!! Including a keurig with pods! The beds were comfortable and the home spacious. We didn’t have use for the “bunk house” but that was well stocked as well.

Great forest abode

Three of us stayed here for a work trip in Polson, and the property is beautiful. Comfortable beds, amenities, and that view! Deer to welcome you as well. We did not realize that the third bedroom was in the dry cabin so we bunked down together in the main house. Highly recommend it if you want to be off the beaten path about 30 mins from Polson.

Beautiful view

Our stay was good, the house is very nice. The view is beautiful. The dry house was nice, the walk down was difficult and I wouldn't recommend staying down there if you need to get up during the night. 😊 Our grandkids enjoyed the room. The adults enjoyed sitting on the deck in the morning and evening. The osprey and deer were fun to watch.

Home away from home

This property not only has spectacular views but also has everything you could possibly need for a great stay, whether travelling with kids or as an adult group. An extremely well-supplied kitchen with both Keurig and drip coffee pot, as well as tea, lots of cozy blankest, more than enough towels and pillows and even reusable makeup removing cloths. Books, games, toys...and great suggestions in the welcome book for things to do in the area. Communication with the host was easy and quick. I highly recommend this lake-view home and can't wait for our next visit!

Last full week of June

We didn't spend that much time at house, other than breakfasts and sleeping. But it was great and once we saw the osprey nest it was a nice bonus. TV in bedroom was barely used and other not at all.Overall - more than met our expectations.
