Bella struttura in legno / Strawbale home sulla sponda orientale del Finley Point sul lago Flathead, situato sulla baia di Skidoo. 120 'di facciata sul lago con darsena privata. 3 letto, 2 bagni, doccia esterna, enorme soppalco, grande sala. La casa principale può ospitare fino a 8 persone. 2 presepe portatile disponibile. Due camere da letto hanno una regina ognuna, una con un divano letto. Una camera ha un letto matrimoniale a castello. Loft ha un'area aggiuntiva per dormire con un divano / letto futon. C'è un ulteriore soppalco sopra il garage che può ospitare fino a 8 ospiti aggiuntivi. Il piano inferiore del garage ha un bagno completo e un'area aperta con un tavolo da ping pong. La struttura in legno è stata costruita con abete e larice che sono stati raccolti per costruire un meleto su un lotto adiacente. Le balle di paglia sono state acquistate da un'azienda agricola locale e la casa è stata costruita nel corso di un anno con l'aiuto di un'officina stawbale. Curioso della struttura in legno o delle case di paglia, vieni in vacanza in uno e goditi il lago e tutte le attività ricreative che il Montana occidentale ha da offrire.
Cammina lungo il sentiero fuori dal portico fino a una bellissima spiaggia di ciottoli. Ci sono 2 kayak, 2 paddle board e una canoa da utilizzare per uscire sull'acqua cristallina. Il vicino, quando c'è, ha un vantaggio per l'accesso al lungomare mentre la loro casa si trova su una scogliera.
Pavimenti in legno, cemento colorato, ampie finestre che si affacciano sul lago e un open space.

Our extended family stayed at this property and enjoyed the well equipped kitchen, the large and comfortable living room, the clean bedrooms and baths, and most of all, enjoyed the beach. The beach was great for adults and every child ages four to fourteen. They were able to fish, swim, snorkle, play on the toys that were already on the beach and more. We were able to enjoy the beach chairs, read, and generally relax. This is a great property for families!

Spacious, comfortable & clean. Everything you need for a quintessential lake stay. The beach, dock & lake toys (paddle boards, kayaks, life jackets etc) are just what you need to enjoy a summer day on the lake. A very easy & enjoyable stay.

Fabulous house great location. Bunk house over the garage is like separate house. Great for young and older kids. It was nice because it kept the main house quiet.The dock area is really nice but the trail down to it is not great. If you have older people that are not sure footed this would be a big problem. Other than access to the lake and dock area it was very nice stay.

Absolutely wonderful house and location

We loved our stay at the strawbale house. The house was very comfortable for our family group of 12 and well equipped with everything we needed. Lots of fun activities to enjoy! Lake access and paddle boards, kayaks and canoes were great. We are ready to come back ASAP!!!

Finley Point Family Reunion

We had a great time at the “Hay House.” The house is nice and open. The kitchen is well stocked (they even have a coffee grinder). The area is quiet and the views of the Mission Mountains are great. This is the second time I have had my family here and there will definitely be a third!

What a unique place in a beautiful setting! Online pics don't quite capture how spacious this timber frame home is. The hosts provide everything you need for an amazing lake vacation. Definitely recommend! Thabkbyou, Mara!

Beautiful property

The home was wonderful. It is set up perfectly for families and friends. There is plenty of space for everyone in our group. The lake access was very nice. The hike to the lake was steep, but not too bad. It was great to have access to the canoes and kayaks. The owner was easily accessible and easy to communicate with. We had a wonderful vacation.

Never Disappoints!

This is my 4th or 5th time staying at your home. We love it EVERY single time and it has become a family tradition. Our kids look forward to this trip every other year and your home now feels like our home away from home. This home is ideal for lake life and a true Montana Flathead Lake experience. Thank you!

Not clean

The kitchen was not cleaned prior to us arriving which was very disappointing. This was not a one time forgot to clean this was an accumulation. The oven was so dirty I would not cook in it, there was popcorn butter all over the inside of the microwave, the toaster was not good. There was leftover coffee in the coffee pot. I actually thought maybe we got our days wrong and someone was still staying there. There was a leak from the upstairs down into the laundry room to the point there was puddling water. We also battled ants to the point they were crawling on us on the couch. I am sad that this happened because the concept and location are so beautiful. For the amount of money charged for this home and the cleaning deposit, I would expect this home to be clean. I took picture when we arrived and communicated with the owner. She was responsive but only insisted it was clean despite the information I shared with her. I have picture I can share but I don’t see an option To do that here. If the home would have been clean it would have been a 9 star stay. Beautiful location, beautiful home, but cleanliness killed it for us

This was probably our 20th trip to Montana from Florida and we had an absolutely wonderful stay on Finley Point. The house was clean, comfortable, and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need both inside and out. The location couldn’t have been better. Having direct lake access made our trip extra special and reminded me of my aunt and grandmother’s homes we grew up visiting on the east shore. The water was stunningly clear, and we loved being able to hop on the kayaks and paddle boards whenever we wanted. The kids enjoyed the rock pebble beach and fire pit and the views from the property were beautiful at all times of day. We saw tons of wildlife including a bear and her cub walking right through the property. This spot is also perfect for exploring the area. We took easy day trips to Lakeside, Bigfork, down town Polson, and even Glacier National Park. Being so close to Finley Point State Park was another bonus as we were able to meet local family there and it was great for swimming, picnics, and enjoying the scenery. Overall, this was the ideal home base for our trip, encompassing a celebration of life, a family reunion, and for a relaxing and adventure filled Montana getaway. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful lakeside retreat.

What a great place!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Finlay point! Aside from the gorgeous surroundings the house was very well equipped and had plenty of room for our group of 11. The beachfront was a perfect spot to relax and play the day away. We are already plotting our return!!!

Beautiful Lake Getaway

We had a wonderful stay on beautiful Flathead Lake. The accommodations were great- love the character of the strawbale home. We used the dock, kayaks, and paddleboards daily. Had a lakeside fire and watched the moon rise over the mountains several nights. Went for bike rides with the cruisers provided. Ping-pong, puzzles, card games were enjoyed. Property is close to Polson so we could run in for groceries, meals, and shopping. Enjoyed a river rafting excursion with Flathead Rafting out of Polson. So much fun!

Beautiful Flathead Lake

View from the house is gorgeous……the house was lovely, 9 in our group, plenty of room. My grandchildren loved the loft and they had me playing ping pong every night! The house is very well equipped with everything one would need, including the canoe and paddle board at the dock, which was used every day…..we rented a boat in Polson and spent a day exploring Wild Horse Island, and just being on the water!

Perché ha scelto questa struttura

Our place is great for larger groups due to the separation between the house, the garage, and the beach. There is something to do for everyone. Quiet dirt road good for kids to bike without the traffic. Lots of games (ping pong, horse shoes, kids bikes, etc) along with water toys. Flat grassy area by house nice for eating or playing. Amazing views in all directions.
