Perfection

This home is beautiful and was perfect to our needs. We were down for 2 weeks to catch a couple LR lacrosse game for our son. The location was also perfect, 2 mins from campus and close to everything in Hickory. We will certainly look to stay here again.

May 2025

I stayed for 2 weeks in May and the property is just as pictured. Home was clean, beds comfortable, well maintained yard, and a quiet nice neighborhood. The house had many of the conveniences of home including basic seasonings to cook with and a few extra non perishable items that were helpful to have on hand. Overall was a very nice home and would not hesitate to stay again.

Fall getaway

My nephew plays college baseball in Hickory. We wanted to get away this fall and decided to have my brother meet us in Hickory to watch him play. We traveled by car from NYS and my brother from Texas. What an absolute wonderful experience we all had. My nephew was very homesick. We were able to attend the games with amazing weather. I was able to make home cooked comfort meals for him whilst there. Although if we did go out..so many options. The house was everything as pictured and described and much more. What can not be accounted for online is the coziness of this home. It is woefully apparent that the owners have put so much love into this home. It has modern amenities however maintains the era of this century old home. It’s charming, warm and very welcoming. The neighborhood is quiet and neighbors friendly. While I did not have the opportunity to personally meet the owners, my brother did. He reported she was very pleasant. We did not need to reach out to her during our stay but I’m confident if we did, she would be quite responsive. I would highly recommend this rental. If we make it back to the area; we will definitely be staying here again. 😊
