Scott and I live in the main part of the house. Rental space is a private wing if the house. 224 Birch Point Rd adjoins a heavily wooded area at the top of a ravine that leads to Cushman Cove, part of the Back River. There are 1 1/4 acres with no neighbors on either side and the wooded ravine to the rear. The suite w/private entrance is a 1st floor wing of the house. The room has been upgraded for a comfy stay. You'll fade into sleep easily on the king-size bed and pillows. Linen Duvet cover. Extra blankets can be found in the wardrobe.The cherry wardrobe is equipped with drawers and shelving and there's a hang bar on the side of the wardrobe fit with wood hangers. Organic cotton and/or linen bed linens, beautiful wide- plank flooring, an intimate dining area by the window, microwave, refrigerator with freezer along with dishes, bowls, glasses, flatware and utensils. There is an electric water kettle for pour over coffee and tea (#2 filters provided). We will provide a complimentary starter tray of coffee, creamer (real half and half in individual sized bottles!), an assortment of black and herbal teas, water, protein bars and snacks, paper towels, toilet paper, and 100% cotton bath towels, including 2 beach towels. There are books available during your stay, a sitting area, games (Backgammon, cards, Bananagram), cleaning products, organic Alba Shampoo and Conditioner, Body wash and hairdryer. There is also a SONY smart TV, so while Netflix is provided, you may need to bring along your ID and password for any premium streaming platforms you subscribe to. There's a window A/C for hot & humid nights . Perfect jumping off spot to explore the many points of interest along Mid-Coast Maine.
