Wonderful Cozy Stay

Beautiful property. Wonderful for a large group, this was perfect for our stay. In a great location and super super clean would highly recommend for anyone with a large group traveling to Seward!

Short stay in Seward

Bear Bottoms was exactly as advertised - perhaps even better. Peaceful location yet close to town, large clean house with well-equipped kitchen… we lacked for nothing and would definitely stay here again! Communication with Erin was always quick and helpful.

This is an awesome property and perfect for a large group. Close to town. Very clean and neat. The kids really enjoyed the puzzles. Everything was perfect! We would definitely stay here again and recommend it highly.

Our family enjoyed staying at Bear Bottoms. The area is lovely, Erin was extremely communicative and quick to respond to our needs and we loved being right on the creek where we could see the salmon after they spawned. We also counted 9 bunnies in the neighborhood. The house had everything we needed.

Check off that Bucket List

We loved Alaska and the trip was made so much better because of this house. Thank you, Erin, for your incredible hospitality. We loved the location. It was so easy to do all of the wonderful expeditions around Seward from this location. It was an ideal house for our family with everything we needed to cook in and enjoy all that Alaska has to offer.

We loved our stay at this house! The house had absolutely everything we could have possibly needed, plenty of room for all of us (group of 10) and it was clean and comfortable. We even saw an eagle in its nest right outside the house! The host takes great care in making sure we felt welcome and we had everything we needed and plenty of room for us to make great meals at home. Highly recommend for your next stay in Seward!

Erin's communication was excellent before, during, and after our stay. The home was clean with a fully stocked and well organized kitchen. Check out was a breeze, and instructions were very clear. The home is secluded, and while we didn't get a chance to use it, the firepit down by the creek looks like a great place to end the day.

30th Anniversary Celebration!

Bear Bottoms exceeded our expectations! We loved the extremely well-stocked kitchen, enough dining room seating for all 13 of us, and comfy beds. The pictures online are very accurate. Sitting by the river is magical. Communication with Host Erin was always timely. We’d choose her property again in a heartbeat.

Amazing Seward Home

Perfect home for our Seward vacation! Erin is an amazing host and left so many thoughtful touches in the home: a welcome sign greeting us, souvenir gifts, rain ponchos, earplugs in bedrooms, etc. The kitchen is well supplied. House was very clean and comfortable. Setting was fantastic, with a beautiful creek on property. We stayed here with extended family (5 kids ranging from ages 10-17) and 6 adults. We did not have any issues but Erin was so great to work with and helped me beforehand with suggested activities and restaurants. Would absolutely stay here again!

Our stay was great - the house was exactly as presented. No surprises - instructions were clearly presented and understood from hostess Erin. Communication was quick and clear - questions we had were answered in a timely manner. Loved the two tables for dining - there was plenty of room for the 10 of us. Erin very kindly shared suggestions for local excursions and food establishments which was very helpful for us - I would highly recommend this rental to my friends - giving it a 5 Star rating.

Beautiful house, clean and plenty of space. Close enough to Seward to get places, but far enough away to feel secluded. Smooth check in/check out process. Erin sent me a guidebook with tour discounts and I booked 2 of them. Thanks for a great experience!
