The owners have thought of everything. Just bring food, clothes and your toothbrush. Warm, clean, modern, comfy and plenty to do. Corn hole and horseshoes were our favorite.

My husband and I come to Colorado every year for our vacation! It was absolutely amazing, the cabin was in a great area & the views were incredible! This house had everything we needed! It was also close to some riding trails so we rode for 2 days! Relaxed in the 2 person hammock and had a competition on the arcade game. We turned the TV on once during our stay, the rest of the time we were enjoying the time! Terry was amazing to work with. We would for sure stay here again!

This place was everything we wanted and more! I stayed for my bachelorette trip and couldn’t have asked for a better spot. The beds were all extremely comfortable and clean, the bathrooms were immaculate, and the kitchen looked brand new! It’s very clear that this place is loved and well taken care of, and we adored staying here. Perfect view of the mountains, tucked away and quiet, and still close to all the activities in buena vista/Breckinridge we wanted to do! I’d recommend this place to absolutely anyone

We absolutely loved this cabin and location. Everything we needed was provided. We hiked daily in the nearby collegiate peaks, and it was nice to come back and relax. There was plenty of property for our two dogs to roam and sniff. We saw lots of wildlife while sitting outside on the deck. The house was nice and clean and we felt comfortable from the start. I highly recommend this cabin and we hope to be back next year. The host was very responsive with any questions. I also want to know who holds that record score on Galaga.

This place is AMAZING! Beautiful cabin, gorgeous surroundings and views. Peaceful, serene and filled with wildlife! Our hosts were VERY communicative and prompt in responding when we had a question. Every single thing you could need was in the cabin and it was immaculate! We instantly felt cozy and at home. There really is no need to look any further if you want a cabin near enough to BV but far enough to feel like you are all by yourself in the woods. Get here, folks. You won't regret it. We miss it already!

Terry & Ronnie’s cabin was a dream! We booked a week long stay as a family of 4 to go trout fishing and exploring nearby areas. The location is great, short distance to Buena Vista, Hartsel, and Fairplay, and short distance to many fishing reservoir lakes. The cabin itself is adorable, clean, plenty of space for our family, and they had supplies of almost anything you would need from the pantry/kitchen to laundry to rooms, etc. Terry quickly answered any questions I had via message, and it was a very simple check in and check out process. We enjoyed cooking dinner each night and sitting on the deck when it was nice out, morning coffee on the deck chairs watching chipmunks and hummingbirds, and we gathered in the family room to unwind at night. We would love to come back and highly recommend this booking!

Our family absolutely loved our stay here! The home was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed for the first part of our Colorado adventure.The location was perfect for exploring central Colorado. We visited Royal Gorge, drove through beautiful mountain scenery, and enjoyed having a peaceful place to come back to each evening. The views around the property were incredible, and the quiet atmosphere made it easy to relax after busy days of sightseeing.The home was well stocked, the beds were comfortable, and everything was exactly as described. Communication with the host was excellent from start to finish, making check-in and check-out effortless.If you're looking for a peaceful mountain getaway with easy access to some of Colorado's most beautiful attractions, we highly recommend staying here. We'd definitely book again!

What a beautiful property. We had a great stay with our family. A great, quiet retreat. Property owners were great and very responsive to any questions. Would definitely stay again.

Hi guests!!! We're the owners, Terry & Ronnie....THANK YOU for checking out our little log cabin! We take great pride in our little place and are so thankful we get to share it with others. We do all of the cleaning ourselves to make sure everything is just right for your stay. This cabin has been Mr. Terry's labor of love since he retired. The cabin is close to everything but far enough away from the city life. We really enjoy our time here being in nature and the mountain views. Don't forget about the stars! Warm your toes by the wood stove and enjoy the stars from the couch ! The cabin is away from city lights so on a moonless night the stars are everywhere! Spend a little time looking up and hopefully you'll see a shooting star. We've seen lots! It's a great place to cozy up after a day of skiing or hiking, or tackling that 14er, or whatever your wandering takes you.
We know many guests want to bring their 4 legged love ones with them to the cabin. Please reach out to us for any concerns regarding the size of your dog.
