A fantastic review of Senraku! We have to agree: the location and the neighborhood are excellent and Senraku has all the amenities that one needs when they are away from home. Thank you for sharing your beautiful experience of your stay at Senraku.

Thank you very much for the superb review of Senraku. We appreciate your insightfulness to help our future guests. Hope to see you again in Kyoto!

Thank you so much for your kind review. Our house is located in the heart of Kyoto, surrounded by a mix of modern buildings and charming small homes. This central location provides easy access to many of Kyoto’s most beautiful sights, and traveling to nearby cities is also very convenient. Although our house is compact and does not offer outdoor seating or scenic views, we provide a special monthly stay plan at a significantly discounted rate—just like the one we offered to you. It is a great option for long-term guests who want to take their time and fully enjoy all that Kyoto has to offer. Thank you very much again for choosing our house for your Kyoto stay!

Thank you for your review. As you stated Senraku is spotless, fully featured and a great location. That is what we want all our guest to experience every time they stay at Senraku. We have done everything imaginable to make all our guest stay trouble free; so that one can experience the true beauty of what Kyoto has to offer. We look forward to seeing you again.

Thank you for your insightful review, and wonderful suggestion. We at Kyoto Machiya Living, Senraku House are always trying to appeal to our guests needs. We have never had a request for a rice cooker. Possibly, in the future, we will consider putting a rice cooker at Senraku House. Not as good as homemade sticky rice but close is packaged microwaveable rice that are available at nearby grocery stores. Thank you again for your thoughtful review.

Thank you for your Five Star Review as you have pointed out most of the highlights to Senraku House. To keep to the traditional and historicalness of an old Kyoto house, we consciously left many of the original features intact; for example, the height of the doorways and the pitch of the staircase. We have had many families with infants stay at Senraku with no problems. One thing I would like to add is that Senraku has traditional tatami flooring throughout the house which adds to the traditional feel. Thank you once again for your Five Star Review.

Thank you for your review of Senraku. Glad that you enjoyed your stay. We always try our best to make everyone's stay fantastic while in Kyoto.

Four times to Kyoto and Sernraku was the best accommodation. Thank you for the excellent compliment. We try to help our guest in any way we can. That is what real Kyoto hospitality is. Hope to see you on your fifth visit to Kyoto. Thank you once again for your winning review.

Thank you for your review of Senraku house. We strive to keep the house meticulously clean but is it wonderful guest like yourself that help achieve this high standard. Senraku is also conveniently located with many restaurants and a grocery store within a few minutes walk. Hope to see you again.

Thank you for a great review of Senraku House. We are so happy that you enjoyed all aspect of the Kyo-machiya. Again thank you for the wonderful recommendation. We will amine not to disappoint future guests.

Thank you for a perfect review that will definitely benefit out future guests and help them with their stay in Kyoto. We both know that it is the small things that make our guest stay truly memorable like informing our guest of local events that are not in any travel guide or items that are time sensitive. For example the perfect time and place to view the annual cherry blossoms etc... Thank you once again for a great review and hope to see you both again in the near future.

We agree that Senraku’s location is great: convenient for eating at wonderful local restaurants, shopping, and it is located a few minute away from public transportation. Senraku was restored to its original roots with all of the modern conveniences that world class travels depend on. For example, fibre optic high speed Internet, Ryokan grade futons (bedding), immaculately clean facilities, and the list goes on. Features such as the staircase and height of the door opening were restored to their original slender, and not modernised which would have taken away from the charm that guests at Senraku have come to expect. Thank you for your review, and recommending Senraku to our future guests.

Thank you for a to-the-point review. A lot of effort goes into maintaining Senraku in tip-top-shape or as you put it “neat as a pin”, we do take pride in providing a neat, clean, and well-appointed house that combines the traditional Japanese home with many of the western comforts. Thank-you again for choosing Senraku for your Kyoto stay, and we hope to see you again.
