This peaceful retreat features a fully fenced in yard with a unique cedar hot tub and a modern open concept design.

Just minutes from beaches, hiking, biking, and OHV trails, adventure awaits just outside the front door.

Our charming cottage is nestled on a quiet street in a peaceful residential neighborhood, just a short drive or walk from the beach! Enjoy the best of both worlds with easy access to town, the beach, and scenic hiking trails. In the winter, you’re just minutes from Northstar, Palisades, and Diamond Peak, offering world-class skiing. This cozy retreat is the perfect year-round getaway!

Guests will have access to the entire home (with the exception of a couple locked closets).

HOME HIGHLIGHTS:
☆ DOG-FRIENDLY: We would love to welcome one pup with you! A pet fee is collected at the time of booking.

☆ LOCATION: This cottage is tucked away on a quiet street, and is only minutes away from town, the beach, and hiking trails! In the winter, it is just a short drive to Northstar, Palisades, and Diamond Peak for world class skiing. The walk to the beach is approximatley .8 miles and takes an average of 20 minutes with a slight incline on the walk home.

☆ INDOOR LIVING: Enjoy our newly renovated kitchen and cozy living room during your stay, to cook amazing meals without missing a second of your time with your family and friends! In the winter months, you can enjoy a cozy movie night with the fireplace burning.

☆ OFFICE SPACE: Working vacation? No worries! We have a private office off of the kitchen with a desk, bookcase, and couch. And if you’re looking for an energy boost - don’t miss our Nespresso maker and French press in the kitchen!

☆ OUTDOORS: We have a fully fenced back yard equipped with a barbecue, outdoor seating areas, and a custom built cedar hot tub. Take a long relaxing dip in the tub after a long day exploring King’s Beach!

☆ EV CHARGER: We have a Tesla EV charging station on the left side of the house, for easy and convenient vehicle charging during your stay.

HOME LAYOUT:
On the first level you will find our fully equipped kitchen, dining area, living room, office space, first full bathroom, and the laundry area leading out to the backyard.

On the second level you will find a cozy king sized bedroom to the right overlooking the backyard, and a queen sized bedroom to the left a second work desk. In the upstairs king bedroom we also have a queen sized air mattress available in the closet. Also on this level is the second full bathroom. All upstairs rooms have ceiling fans for those warm summer days, and space heaters for cold winter nights.

Parking is limited to 2 cars in the driveway. Parking On the Street is Prohibited Year Round.

We donate 1% of bookings to local nonprofit organizations such as League to Save Lake Tahoe and Tahoe Fund!

SKI LEASE REQUIREMENTS (January - April 2026):
- Guest shall maintain a full-time residence elsewhere in the United States during their stay.
- Primary booker is required to submit a copy of their I.D. and a signed rental agreement within 4 days of booking.
- Rental insurance proof to be provided no later than 2 weeks before arrival by ski lease guest.
- Owners will provide a starting amount of supplies (kitchen products, shampoo, etc.) and anything else you may need during your stay will be on your own.

SKI LEASE PRICING
- Cleaning required every 31/days as well as deep cleaning and carpet cleaning post - stay (cleaning fees built into rental price).
- All utilities and snow plowing service (driveway) are included in the rental rate.
- 1 snow shoveling every 31/days covered (additional snow shoveling services can be coordinated through Tahoe Cohost Collective at the expense of the guest).
- Rental rate includes a built-in $1500 refundable damage deposit. Owner to refund guest (less any damages) within 7 business days of check out.


HOME TRUTHS:
☆ Our hot tub is cleaned weekly (Thursdays) and in between each guest stay. The water is frequently cleaned and changed but may have a natural green color due to the cedar wood of the tub. This color is harmless and does not affect the water quality.
☆ We do not have central heating, but the electric fireplace warms the home nicely. We also provide portable space heaters for each bedroom for the colder months. We’ve found that this keeps the home nice and toasty in the winter!
☆ Like most homes in Lake Tahoe we do not have air conditioning, but we do supply a portable fan for the lower levels and ceiling fans in both upstairs bedrooms and bathroom.
☆ Our driveway is gravel and on a slope. Please be prepared to park on an incline, and in the winter months we recommend 4WD or snow tires.
☆ We are not responsible for uncontrollable circumstances inherent to Lake Tahoe such as poor air quality during wildfire season and snow during the winter months. We recommend 4WD, chains, or snow tires in the winter and if you would like to protect your trip for reasons not covered by Airbnb’s policies, we recommend the purchase of external trip insurance in the event your travel plans change or you need to cancel. Our cancellation policy will stand.
☆Outdoor furniture may not be available in the winter months (October - May).

This is a new rental place so there are some small things that can be improved but over all loved the home, the hot tub, and the location!

In the summer enjoy our lush and spacious backyard with a barbecue, firepit, and plenty of outdoor seating - and only a short walk to the beach! In the wintertime you can curl up by the fireplace for a cozy movie night surrounded by snow. All year long, you have to check out our custom cedar hot tub!
