Well stocked, spacious, beautiful view, and located near lots of attractions. Be aware that house is tricky to locate, up very steep hills. Also there are several steps up to door. The game room and movie collection were a hit with the kids. The washer and dryer are a plus for beach cleanup!

We loved the central location. The beds were comfortable, kitchen was well stocked and the views were spectacular! We saw two fawns every morning, so cute! Highly recommend.

Family vacation

Great spot to stay near to Tillamook, Rockaway beach, Cannon Beach, and not too far from Astoria. Enjoyed the views of the Bay at Bay City and thankful for close proximity to various destinations but also just outside of them too for some solace!

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay! As the description indicates, yes, our home has one set of stairs into the living area and another set to the kitchen and second master bedroom suite. While we have had many families with elderly family members who have enjoyed staying at our place, if you or someone in your party has trouble with code-complying stairs, this may not be the ideal vacation home for you. We offer two master bedroom suites and a "kids room;" third bedroom. it is very ideal for multiple couples and kids/grandkids, and many multi--parent families have enjoyed our home. Annual visit to Oregon Coast

This home suited us perfectly! Plenty of space for everybody. Great view. It had a nice "come on in" feel to it. I hope to visit it again next year.

Beautiful Bay City Rental

We absolutely loved staying here and the communication from the landlord was excellent. The house was perfect with the beautiful bay views, amenities, cleanliness, and proximity to so many fun places along the Oregon Coast. My husband and daughter saw deer in the backyard and we visited many new places and familiar places as well. Look forward to a return visit again!

Wedding Weekend Stay

We stayed here for a wedding weekend that was in Tillamook and it was a great location, central for things in Tillamook and Rockaway. There was three couples and each of us took a bedroom and it was really nice to have our own bedrooms. There is a beautiful view off of the deck and the whole house just feels cozy. It was nice and clean and we were all really happy with our stay! Thank you, Dean!

Holiday weekend with family

My family and I had a wonderful weekend together. The house had everything we needed to prepare meals, relax, watch movies, and spend quality time. We were able to jump in the car and explore the area despite the rainy weather, and were eager to get back to the house and be cozy! Our group was age 1 to 82 and the house was set up very well for everyone!

We had a great time in your spacious home. Very well equipped and comfortable. Was interesting to watch the changes in the Bay as the tides changed. Had a great time. Only thing I didn't realize was the number of steps to reach the top floor. Fortunately it was not an issue for our group so a great time was had by all. Shuffleboard in Rockaway was a kick for some afternoon entertainment.

Even Better the Second Time Around

It was wonderful to return to this lovely home in Bay City for a second time. Our family had a great time. The home is comfortable, the kitchen is so easy to prepare meals in and the view from the deck of the bay is delightful. Our host thought of everything, once again. From the best place to shop for groceries to the best family beaches and about anywhere you may want to visit for a variety of acclivities or just relax. He has thought of about anything you would need to have a great vacation. This stunning home in its quiet neighborhood will make you feel pampered. I am glad we chose to stay here again. It felt like coming home.

Great Crabbing weekend at the coast!

We had a fabulous time at the coast for a family crabbing weekend. This was a beautiful home but I would avoid it if you have elderly parents who find it difficult to repeatedly go up/down stairs. I would also avoid it if there is a Ducks or Beaver Game you wish to watch on TV as there is no TV reception! They do however have a fabulous selection of DVD's to watch. All in all everyone had a great time. I would highly recommend this property if you are ok with the above two items. Dean was extremely easy and professional to work with too!

Yes, it is a two story house and we do not have cable, but we do have an antenna and pick up about 11 channels

Lovely, Spacious Home in Isolated Community

Beautiful home, well-suited to our needs (three adults and two teens). Comfortable beds and pleasant furnishings. The kitchen is well-equipped and the BBQ is excellent. Views of the bay from the bedrooms and slender deck. Many, many stairs to get to the main level kitchen and bedroom (bringing coolers, bags of food, and suitcases from the car is not for the faint of heart). If you are at all sensitive to the heavy perfumes and chemicals in detergent and dryer sheets, you might want to consider bringing your own sheets and towels. Getting to the beach and any walking jaunts what-so-ever require driving. The local neighborhood is built on very steep hills and is not walk-friendly. The neighborhood is quiet and, again, we really liked the house.

We go on walks from the house every day when we are here. We have been using a Costco dryer sheet and we don't believe there is a strong perfume smell from the sheets, I am sensitive to strong sents and would not use them if they left a strong scent.

Enjoyed our stay

Pros- Lovey home, very spacious Well maintained Clean A love of dvd/blue ray movies Game room and wii Close to Downies diner, good breakfast Great communication with owner Nice view Close to piers for crabbing or sightseeing My family enjoyed the tillamook creamery and air museum which is close by. Garbaldi is a neighboring little town that has a nice restaurant called Pirates Cove if you’re looking for a good seafood dinner. (Do not look at the prices online, they aren’t correct). Cons- Do not follow any kind of gps directions once you arrive in the neighborhood. They are not correct. Follow the owners directions that are provided in the email. The internet connection is very weak upstairs, we couldn’t even watch a movie on Netflix because internet connection kept dropping. Glad there were dvds provided. Someone that stayed there before us must have had a pet. We had white pet hair stuck on our clothes after getting up from the upstairs sofa and white hair on our socks when walking around (we all wear black socks). The pet hair isn’t a big deal but wanted to mention it in case someone has allergies or babies crawling around. Overall we had a very nice stay and recommend this property.

Glad you enjoyed yourself. Unfortunately Cecilia's group unplugged the the mesh wifi extender upstairs, we don't have trouble Streaming Netflix upstairs when the Google Mesh system is plugged in. They likely thought it was just a Google speaker.

Beautiful Views- Would Definitely Return

Family of 6 stayed here- our own family and my in-laws. Plenty of space for the 6 of us. Views were amazing (saw deer) and everything was in working order and as listed. Owner sent email about a week before with all of the “needs to know” information and requests for checkout. As mentioned by other reviewers, be sure to follow directions given by owner and do not follow GPS or you WILL get completely turned around and not be at the house. Tillamook was a short drive away and very convenient for grocery shopping. The stairs were definitely a lot for our in-laws. We ended up doing most of the unloading therefore, so that was a lot of heavy lifting and climbing. We tried to use the garage to unload thinking it would be easier, but it seemed a little temperamental, so we just used the outdoor stairs. The renters before us filled up the trash cans, so luckily we were not throwing much away as garbage was not picked up until 4 days in to our trip. The hardwood floors were pretty slippery in some spots, especially on the first floor- less on second, so just a caution. Note to light sleepers, you should not sleep in the first floor master suite as you can hear all of the movement of those above you. We honestly were on the go quite a bit visiting family or fishing so did not eat in the house for dinners, so can’t speak to use of oven or stove really, but plenty of dishes. We enjoyed gathering for games at the table. Enjoyed greatly overall and would stay again in heartbeat.

Wonderful house for two families

Amazing modern, clean home with gorgeous views. All new linens were provided. Stayed with my sister’s family and the set up was perfect with each family having their own floor and bathrooms. This was fine for us but just fyi- there are a lot of stairs. Toiletries are not provided but it’s easy to buy what you need from Fred Meyer down the road. Also, Waze will tell you to access the house from 9th St but you access the house from 8th St. Use Google Maps instead. Host is very responsive and helpful. They let you use their salt, oil, etc and they have plenty of plates and cooking supplies, so it’s easy to cook. We donated a non stick pan so it was easier for us to cook eggs ha ha! Highly recommend this home!

Great Ocean View

The house was clean and well-appointed. The owner was helpful when I couldn’t find my email that had the door code. The home is tucked up high enough that you have a great view. Would totally recommend and would stay there again.
