The apartment was wonderful. The space was large and met our expectations. There is a lot of great restaurants in the immediate area and a lot of green spaces to walk our dogs. Close to the Custis Trail for running/biking and close to a Metro stop for easy access to DC.

Our stay at this property was great. Very close to a metro stop plus good restaurants within walking distance. Beds were very comfortable plus each bedroom had an adjoining bathroom. Plenty of room in the living/kitchen area. We would definitely stay here again when visiting DC.

This property was a great location and easy to find . The hosts are great at communicating. The apartment was not exactly the same as the photos , the couch was tan and rather old and uncomfortable . They do provide towels, but 1 per guest - not bath mats or hand towels . The king sized bedroom shades were broken and had some missing places , so some updates could be done to make it more comfortable . We had a missing hairdryer and the hosts had it replaced in a few hours - that was nice and impressive . And very appreciated . We would stay again but would love some updates

Great home base for DC vacation!

We spent a week at the condo. The 4 minute walk to the Metro made our week of DC sightseeing an easy commute. The condo was quite comfortable for our family of 3.

Fantastic location. Walked everywhere in Arlington. Took Metro to DC. Great condo; had everything we needed.

Great location, 2 blocks from metro station. Which makes it a short train ride to DC sights as well as DCA airport. 4-5 blocks from Ballston Quarter (lots of food options) as well as Supermarket, Target, CVS. Very nice building, the staff and other tenants are friendly. For a city environment, pretty quiet. Didn't hear adjoining units, and the neighborhood is quiet at night, you don't hear police cars, ambulances, etc going at all hours like some cities. It helps that the unit faces away from the main street. Full kitchen was very useful so we didn't have to eat out all the time. Especially simpler meals like breakfast. Having laundry saved us from packing so much clothes. One criticism is I was not able to reach anyone by phone as part of due-diligence on the rental. It makes me feel better to be able to speak to someone before booking. But the management are super-fast over text/email/Expedia messages, responding within minutes. That was reassuring that I would be able to reach someone quickly if anything were to come up.

This is an absolutely perfect location for doing all the tourist Washington DC things. We ate at a different place every night, most of it was within walking distance, and the neighborhood feels very safe. The unit itself was nice. It is advertised as sleeping 6, but there's only table seating for 4. There were only 3 coffee mugs and no child friendly cups or plates. There were 6 towels - luckily there is laundry because we had to use the same towels for the pool as we did for our showers. Wish we could give 4.5 stars.

It worked relatively well with some caveats

The location is fine. It’s pretty accessible to the subway and restaurants as well as a Target and CVS. The condo is relatively clean. When we came in the toilet seat was broken. I reported it to the owner, and he responded. However, after 1.5 days of it not being repaired, I cancelled the repair order as I repaired it temporarily. On day one the tv did not function properly and by day two it fixed itself. The sink drain in the bathroom could not be closed off as I generally use it while shaving. Minor inconvenience. On day three at about 8am we were awakened by someone above us who sounded like they were hammering. The ceiling near the a/c vent was dark with either dirty, dust or mold. We went to use the pool area which was closed! The area around the pool was also very dirty while garbage all over. Cleaning lady came in at 9:30am without knocking on our last day. The bathroom needs more towels and places to hang them. Garden tubs should have pull bars to gain access. For the money I expected the amenities to be cleaner and opened as advertised. I also expect the place to be fully functional. I think we are due something back but whatever.

Regarding the toilet, our team acknowledged the issue promptly and had already begun coordinating a repair when you chose to handle it temporarily yourself. We appreciate the initiative, though we would have been happy to complete the repair if given the opportunity. Some items, like the sink stopper and occasional external noise, are part of the natural variance in high-rise living. The ceiling discoloration near the vent was cosmetic, but we’ll ensure it’s reviewed. As for pool access, this is managed entirely by the building and subject to seasonal schedules or temporary closures beyond our control. We understand the frustration and will pass along feedback about the shared areas. We apologize for the cleaner arriving early on the final day—this was a scheduling miscommunication. Our team is always available to help with additional towels or requests if notified. Thank you again for your stay. We always aim to provide a smooth experience and appreciate your comments. Our party of 4 adults had a wonderful stay. Plenty of room and it was a great location for all of our outings in and around Washington DC. Quick walk to the subway station, and many great restaurants very close by, as well as a large grocery store and Target within a short drive. We really enjoyed the swimming pool, as it was very hot while we were there. The host was very responsive and helpful. Would stay here again.

Perfect place to stay for a family visiting DC. Compared to a hotel room, this apartment is so much better - kitchen, large living room, eating area, two bathrooms and two bedrooms. Area is very safe and a short walk to the Metra. Easy walk to Target, restaurants, bars, coffee shops etc. We would definitely stay here again.

The apartment is as pictured. It's a little dated, but suited our needs. The blinds do not block the sun, so the bedrooms are bright in the morning. Check in and out were easy and seamless. All in all, a fine stay.
