Great place for an Autumn get-away. Perfect location -- close to hiking trail above property, and easy access to surrounding trails and such. Close to couple good restaurants in Cuchara and easy drive to surrounding sites. Very quiet -- we were the only folks in our section, so that was nice. Condo was just right for us and our stay. Especially grateful for the easy check-in and follow up contact with the hosts when we had trouble getting the TV to work ... and good continued follow up with hosts as well. We'll be looking to go back sometime!

a friend and myself stayed for a hunting trip the home was clean and provided all the things we needed for our stay the location was great and the locals were welcoming and helpful as well i would stay again if i am in the area.

We had such a relaxing stay in Cuchara! This property has everything you need, is quiet, and has a spectacular view. We were very happy with our stay and hope to be back soon.

The property was very clean. There was plenty of room for all of us, 3 adults & 2 kids, to have space. There was plenty of bedding and blankets. The pillows were amazing!! We were able to cook breakfast and lunch there and went out for dinner at the local restaurants. Very good!! We didn't bring pets, but there was a bed and blanket for them if we had. Definitely better than staying in a hotel. We will absolutely stay there again.

No toaster? Broken Keurig machine? The kitchen is not the size of other units at the same complex.

Thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry the stay did not fully meet your expectations. Regarding the coffee maker, I did make an effort to locate and provide a replacement during your stay. Because of the location of the property, obtaining one proved more difficult than I initially anticipated. I remained in direct communication with you throughout the process and kept you informed of my efforts to get a replacement machine. As for the toaster, I appreciate you bringing that to our attention, and we’ll take that into consideration as we continue to improve the unit. Regarding the kitchen size, each unit within the complex can have different layouts and configurations, and we do not make comparisons or representations about the size of our kitchen based on other units in the community. We always strive to accurately represent the property and its features in the listing so guests can make an informed decision before booking. I appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback, and we’ll use it to help improve the guest experience.

Condo was dirty on arrival and had to clean and remake all beds and linens. Great location.

The house was clean and nice. The stairs to the property are in bad shape and there is no easy wat to get to the condo. I fell twice going down because of the uneven railroad ties. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful view.

Place is pretty basic. Not enough counter space to cook. Oven very dirty. Need chairs in living room. No dish washing soap. Looks like a new owner that has just put in basic necessities. Fireplace was great although no matches or fire starter. Place was not prepared for cold weather.

Bad drive up in winter to this place

This property doesn’t tell you this condo has a very steep road to travel up. The bigger issue is the county takes care of the road going uphill they have left so much snow and ice hard packed and glazed that I tried for three hours with chains just to go only one mile. This property is not a place to stay in winter. Management should refund my money but no response from them yet
