Stay in this historic building, built in 1909 for Peligrino Glassini to house his Olympia saloon.

Nestled on the second floor of a historic building, this inviting space overlooks La Veta Park and offers a fully fenced garden, perfect for your furry companion.

Just steps from Main Street’s quaint shops and restaurants, this well-appointed apartment features a newly renovated (2022) bathroom and a modern kitchen equipped with an electric range, oven, dishwasher, drip coffee maker, espresso machine, toaster, blender, and all cookware. A new washer and dryer (2022) make it ideal for extended stays. You’ll also enjoy a brand-new private hot tub (April 2026) tucked away in the backyard—perfect for unwinding and rejuvenating with powerful, soothing jets during your stay.

For those looking to stay active, the building houses a Pilates studio and Physical Therapy clinic—join a class and energize your stay!

As a guest of Alpine Oasis, you also have access to Stand-Up Paddle Board (SUP) rentals for an additional fee, making it easy to explore the beautiful lakes and reservoirs in the area, such as those at nearby Lathrop State Park.

I just wanted to say this is a beautiful place and we SO enjoyed our stay. I have a feeling we will be back too. Sara has done an amazing job with creating a home away from home. The enclosed backyard was perfect for our 4 legged babies. The bathroom was elegantly remodeled, the kitchen was quaint and well equipped with all that we needed to cook our meals. We really loved the place with its huge skylight and vaulted ceilings, making it feel very spacious! The #1 thing and most impacting takeaway was the cleanliness of the place. Very impressive for a rental space. It made us feel completely comfortable. Would have liked using the hot tub, but we look forward to coming back again for another opportunity to use it.

Perfect Modern Apartment

This apartment was perfect for our visit with family in LaVeta. It is located right off Main Street which made it convenient to walk everywhere in town. It was clean, well stocked, and welcoming to our family dog. Our granddaughter caught her first fish at a nearby lake so the trip was a success! We will be back.

Weekend stay in La Veta…

We came to La Veta to home base for the weekend to check on our property progress since the 2018 fire. My daughter and I loved this property! Super comfortable, quiet, and amazing clean! The location is 5 stars due to the proximity to the town! The shops and local grocery had everything we needed for our stay! This will be our first choice for us going forward! Thanks for sharing this place and see you next time!

Very Nice

The apartment was updated nicely and in a terrific location. It was a little warm, but did have window a/c units in two of the bedrooms and one unit in the living room.

Loved the place. Comfortable. Cute. Clean. Plenty of room to sit. This is on second floor. There is a carport for your car. Wifi can be spotty but this is also true for rest of the town. Do visit the museum. It is within walking distance.

We enjoyed staying here a 2nd time!

We stayed in this apartment for the second time during the week of Christmas. The host added a tree and other decorations to make our stay more festive and we were able to celebrate Christmas with our family there. It truly was a special holiday and we enjoyed it just as much as we did last summer! The hosts were very fast in responding to our questions/requests and were very accommodating to allow our maltipoos and planned/unplanned guests. We appreciated that we were also given a music stand to use while my husband enjoyed playing guitar and singing in the stairwell! That was his favorite place to hang out :) We will definitely be visiting again! Thank you so much!
