Our group enjoyed a long weekend at this large, updated house. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were nicely finished. There was plenty of space for all 8 of us with two living spaces. The grounds were wide open and it was beautiful to watch the sunset or walk near the pond. Our host communicated well and answered questions promptly. It was about a 45 minute drive through some very pretty countryside to get to Mammoth Cave National Park. If the water levels are high enough, the Green River Ferry is a short 10 minute drive. We would stay here again if we are in the area!

It was a wonderful stay. We enjoyed our time. Unfortunately the hot tub wasn’t working so our kids were bummed but the atmosphere and property were stunning.

Such a beautiful home and property! The view of the lake was stunning. Such a perfect and restful getaway for our family. Those were the coolest bunk beds we’ve ever seen! We would definitely stay there again!

Would be nice to have a shampoo and conditioner dispenser in the showers. Also, the fishing poles and lures need upgraded to something functional. Thanks, we enjoyed our stay.

The house was very well maintained and clean. It had about everything you could want, and the hot tub and pond were great additions. Communication with the owners was excellent and we were even allowed to check in a bit early as we arrived earlier than expected. Truly a wonderful retreat!

House was clean and very cute! Loved the porch. We'd wake up every morning and have breakfast at the outdoor table! Kids loved the yard and sitting on the dock!

A gorgeous property in a great location! This property is extremely well-kept and comfortable. Our family of 4 (kids aged 8 & 11) enjoyed everything about it - fishing, hot tub, making s’mores around the fire pit, relaxing on the porch, playing outside. With the ferry back up and running, we could go in and out of the park with ease to hike and do cave tours. We actually didn’t know the ferry was an option when we booked, so that was an awesome perk! We found the kitchen to be well-stocked for our cooking needs and everything worked perfectly. The hosts were easy to contact and very responsive. If we get back down to this area, we will absolutely book this house again!
