The house, property, farm, and proprietors are great. Important to know that there are only two “room” ACs, one in the master and one in the kitchen. The other rooms may get warm and stuffy. The laundry wasn’t usable because the washer had a significant amount of mold buildup. That said, we really enjoyed our stay.

Great location

Has a great time. The location was perfect and we enjoyed the goats. The backyard was great and plenty of room for our party to bbq and hang out

Amazing place to wind down and relax. The property is beautifully designed, clean, and well kept. It was so nice to be able to go outside and have the kids play with the goats and other farm animals. Definitely plan on coming back!

Charming!

What a wonderful and unique stay on a beautiful farm! We felt welcomed and comfortable the moment we arrived. It is a beautiful property nestled in one of the most lovely places in the country.

Amazing Time!

My family traveled to Lompoc from Mexico and Australia. It was the first time we have all been together in eight years. This was the spot! Great accommodations, tons of space to hang out and play games and a very responsive host!

Very spacious

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is very spacious and comfortable and the outdoor space is really convenient for visiting with friends. There are a lot of extra amenities in the home like laundry and kitchen spices. The kitchen is nicely stocked with all the pots and pans and dishes one would need. The homes decor is very classy and there are nice flowers and landscaping in the back. We had a nice relaxing stay. Highly recommend

A Very Enjoyable Stay!

Our family had a wonderful stay at the Dare 2 Dream Farm Homestead. Our kids especially loved the goats, the fire pit, and the massive TV in the family room. It was an overall peaceful stay, with the exception of some occasional minor noise that should be expected from a working farm. It was all part of the experience for us. We appreciated the convenient access to the farm stand and the fresh eggs, and I would recommend this rental for anyone looking to get away from the city and experience farm life.

Want to go back

We loved this place! It was just a few miles out of Lompoc. There was a farm stand just next to house to get fresh fruit and vegetables as well as some other items. There were goats next door too. The backyard was beautiful. It was so very homey and comfortable! If I had any questions the property manager responded quickly. If we ever get back this way, I will definitely stay there!

The house was clean and large. The huge kitchen had lots of equipment but no dishwasher. Since it was just two of us cooking two nights and making simple breakfasts the lack of a dishwasher wasn’t a big issue. For a large group which could easily fit in the house that might be a negative. We enjoyed sitting at the covered table in the backyard. We could easily imagine a group enjoying it as well as the large side patio. Looks like it was made for a party!There was an issue with lots of flies in the kitchen and an occasional one in the bedrooms. When we notified the host they immediately responded by putting up fly ribbons. We appreciated the prompt response but have to say it was the fly spray we bought and the fly swatter in the kitchen that did the trick although we dealt with it the entire time we were there. I think this property would be especially suitable for a family with young children. We enjoyed checking out the farm stand and walking around the property.

This is a wonderful home with gorgeous surroundings. It is spacious with a beautiful kitchen. So many amenities!!! We came to see the SpaceX launch which is just up the road 4 miles it was a very memorable experience. If you are coming anywhere near this area, this house is a must stay!!!
