Cleaners were still working when we arrived at 4:00 p.m. but the condition upon arrival was disappointing, especially considering the 250 cleaning fee. CLEANLINESS: Sheets, towels, hot tub, sinks, tubs and toilets appeared clean, but much of the rest had significant dust, dirt, debris, cobwebs, dead insects and buildup. All six guests spent about 2 hours cleaning before we could comfortably enjoy the property and spent approximately 96 on cleaning supplies, including a broom we left behind. We cleaned floors, counters, refrigerator, faucets, light switches and the deck, which had significant rodent droppings. Small fruit flies remained throughout the kitchen and bathrooms. The property needs a thorough deep cleaning, including floors, windows, fixtures, fan, cabinets, table, microwave vent, HVAC vents and rugs.MAINTENANCE: Both upstairs mini-splits had extremely dirty filters and mold-like buildup and could not be used due to the smell. Faucets had very low pressure. The refrigerator door would not close until we repaired it. Towel holders fell off the walls and shower heads need attention. The outdoor TV did not work and the downstairs TV repeatedly failed. Hot tub lights did not work; the cover was in 2 pcs/difficult to handle and headrests were missing. The main-floor bed creaked loudly. Used water filters were left outside. We loved the location and spectacular views, the property has great potential, but these issues need attention to justify the price & cleaning fee
