Beautiful home with a view. The dogs loved the fenced in yard. Jane was available for questions and concerns. Definitely will plan another visit next year!

Thank you very much for allowing us to stay at your home! WeLoved the area and your neighbors are very nice. We loved the zucchini bread and the cabbage from your neighbors! Very tasty. We enjoyed being able to watch nature at its finest! Deer all over the place, birds, including some hummingbirds that visited and said hello! We did not see the little black bear but, would have loved to. We are nature minded folks and loved this very much. Thank you for the very relaxing time and we hope to stay again.

We absolutely loved our short stay here. Very pet friendly. Our pups loved the huge fenced in backyard. Very clean. Comfortable beds. The views are amazing and our whole stay was very enjoyable. We will be back!

We enjoyed our few days on the parkway as a getaway. Enjoyed seeing all the deer, bears and turkey. Also visiting MY Airy and Meadows of Dan market.

25th Anniversary trip

The house and yard exceded our expectations. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate. We were there the week Hurricane Helene hit. We would definitely consider another trip and choose this home. Inside and outside is wonderful!

Judy was absolutely fantastic! She & family endured 2 days of the hurricane disaster with no power. I could not have asked for a better family. I wish their anniversary would have ended on a high note but thankful no major issues other than inconvenience of indoor camping.

A Wonderful Haven

My husband and I, along with our two dogs, stayed at Jane's beautiful home. The view is amazing, and the backyard is completely fenced in. How nice it was to watch our dogs roaming freely in the backyard while we sat out on the deck taking in the view. The bed in the master bedroom was extremely comfortable. The kitchen is very well appointed. There is a washer and dryer available. The home has everything you need. And Jane was wonderful to work with. I would highly recommend this beautiful and comfortable home.

Perfect Retreat in the Mountains

Our family had a wonderful time at this sweet, super-comfortable mountain home. It has everything you could need and want, and is beautifully decorated. The back yard is fenced in and huge with so much room for the kids to play. Wonderfully furnished front and back yard porches with a great fire pit on the back deck for sipping your favorite beverage and star gazing. It's also very convenient to everything! Mt. Airy and Chateau Morrisette are must sees!! And, the owner. Is awesome with great information to share. We loved it and came home rejuvenated and missing the mountains aleady!

The perfect getaway.

My husband and I needed a relaxing getaway. We decided to rent this home for three nights. When Jane said all our dogs (6) were welcome, I jumped at this wondering opportunity. What would be better than a quick getaway for the long Easter weekend with all our fur kids? When we arrived, we checked the fenced-in yard to ensure their safety before setting them loose. We were shocked at the view alone. The fence was high, at least 5 feet around, which was perfect. My husband and I decided to do the groceries before heading to the house. We bought the necessary items for breakfast and lunch/dinner. We bought steaks and hamburgers to make on the available grill as well. The kitchen was fully equipped. We even found the toaster lol (in the laundry room). We brought the kid's beds, but it wasn’t necessary. The place was even equipped with doggie beds. Being in dog rescue, this place was incredible. Extremely dog-friendly and doggie-proof, our kind of place. We spent the long weekend pretty much outside. The front porch was perfect, all fenced so we could enjoy the rocking chairs while sipping our coffee with the fur kids. Just like at home. This place is just a couple of hours away from our house. However, I think we’ve found our perfect getaway. Hopefully, we can rent it for the week during the fall foliage season. Thank you for everything. P.S. forgot to sign all our names on the guestbook!! Just the perfect guests. 5+ stars should be in all categories!!! Communicated very well. House left in great order. Can’t sing their praises enough for being perfect guests. You would never know they had 6 six dogs with them. They are welcome any time.

The house is so convenient to the blue ridge parkway with a beautiful backyard view of the parkway and the mountains. The house itself is spacious and very comfortable. The house is well stocked with everything you may need. The host is wonderful to work with! We highly recommend this house. We felt right at home and hope we have the opportunity to return!

Relaxing and beautiful mountain scenery and gorgeously decorated home. Weather was about 10 degrees cooler than the city. Our group of 5 from ages 55 to 90 and a service dog, found that it was so nice to find so many things provided for all— including the dog. Beds were plenty and comfortable, kitchen was large enough for us all to do our thing, but small enough for conversations. We stayed home one day just to enjoy the atmosphere. We want to return in another season to enjoy the amenities associated with it and the season.
