Property is an excellent location outside Blairsville. Close to town and Blue Ridge, yet very secluded and quiet. Great for 2 brothers that wanted a place to sleep while trout fishing in the mountains.

We have stayed here many times and pray we will have the opportunity again soon. This is totally our favorite place to stay while visiting in Union County. It is absolutely a "coming home" feeling for us. A couple years ago, we needed a place for three nights and had to book another place because Deerfield and the sister cabin were both booked already. We still enjoyed the area and took care of the things we had to attend to, but we missed "our cabin".

Just a perfect mountain getaway. Laundry, great pond and dock, laundry, and such an accommodative host. There was a huge rain the night before which drove ants into the kitchen, but they had an exterminator there before we arrived and took care of the issue. Top notch.

Check in was a breeze. If you’re looking to unwind with a peaceful secluded home this is your spot. There is nothing fancy here but it’s comfortable and homey.The a/c is a window unit and there is a fan in the downstairs bedroom which kept me cool enough but if you’re super hot natured it takes a while to cool down the bedroom.Hosts were very easy to contact.

The hosts were very nice people and very quick to respond. Our major issue was the place is a non smoking place but it absolutely reeked of smoke and there were two cans with used cigarettes in them on the back porch. When I brought it to their attention they did say they cant keep an eye on everyone but that they wont let the guest before back again. My issue is this should have been noticed by whoever was cleaning and either taken care of or brought to my attention before. It wasn’t just a slight smell, it was strong, and especially upsetting for me because I had a toddler and baby with me. My bed sheets were damp which I didn’t notice till I laid in them the first night. The floors were dirty with lots of crumbs. There were also issues with check-in which I’m not sure is something they need to fix with Vrbo or if it’s vrbo’s fault but because of that we didn’t get there till after dark so we didn’t get the chance to fully make sure the place was up to a good standard till the next day. Make sure you go to the blue cabin if you book here. First pic is of a brown cabin and we were given the code for that cabin as well.
