Beautiful home, great location, friendly neighbors and great amenities. I had a problem with the A/C but maintenance came right out twice and after that it was fine. There is a live person available immediately for any concerns. Looking forward to another stay in the future.

Best Family Vacation

We enjoyed our stay at Mary’s Dunes. The house was perfect for our family of seven. Everyone had plenty of room and spent most of our time in the big open kitchen/ living room area playing games and watching movies . We enjoyed taking the golf cart to the beach and riding around Oak Island soaking up the beautiful scenery. The hot tub was a nice bonus to relax in after a long day at the beach. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend Mary’s Dunes for your next family vacation.

Quiet Comfort

Our family enjoyed the space and comfort afforded at Mary Dunes. The location was quiet yet easily accessible to the beach and activities in Southport. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking for our large crew but there were also plenty of restaurants nearby for when this mom wanted to also enjoy a little bit of the vacationing ;) Overall, it was an amazing stay!

Great home!

We loved Mary Dunes and would highly recommend to others. The home was spacious, well-maintained and had a perfectly stocked kitchen of pots/pans, utensils and other basics for cooking. The included golf cart and hot tub were nice perks as well! It was a perfect week at Oak Island!

Perfect vacation house.

This house was perfect for my family of 7 and a baby. The pictures of the home perfectly showed the house. When we arrived the home was very cleaned and even provided starter items such as, paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap etc. The golf cart was definitely a bonus and we enjoyed it. We highly recommend this home for any families headed to Oak Island.

Great house was exactly what we needed

Property was clean and the check- in process was super easy. Loved that linens were included and beds ready for our stay. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub and golf cart and the outside shower was terrific! The only suggestion would be to provide access to a few beach chairs, but we brought our own so not an issue for us. Definitely will stay here again.

Much needed vacation!

We were very pleased with our stay at the Mary Dunes. The house was perfect for our family’s needs. One major positive for our stay was access to the golf cart to take us to and from the beach. An added bonus was not having an extra expense for parking on OKI. Looking forward to our next stay!

Great vacation with kids

The property was well set up for hosting two families. Closets were big enough for a pack and play or blow up bed, which was so nice! The beds were comfortable and it was well furnished. The use of the golf cart and hot tub were lovely added bonuses. The golf cart made beach trips really simple and quick. We were very impressed with the house and amenities and would love to stay again in the future!

Enjoyed the home, the layout was great and the hot tub was clean. Beds were comfortable! We couldn’t get the TV in the main living room to work, but that was probably operator error on our part. There were other TVs we were able to use so it wasn’t an issue. Decently stocked kitchen. We enjoyed our stay!

Family vacation

Nice property great sleeping for kids and adults. Hot tub was dirty and couldn’t use for two days, couldn’t check in till 4:00 pm , locks didn’t work on doors.

Happy times at the Dunes

My family enjoyed the house and all amenities. We loved the hot tub and golf cart. The house was roomy enough for everyone and had plenty of blankets and pillows. No beach towels though. Bring your own. TVs in all the rooms was great.

Nice house but with issues

Overall the house was nice. However, there were a number of issues. We connected to wifi but no internet all week. One side of loveseat broken. Hall tub drains very slow. Ants in kitchen. Lower level apt stayed very damp, toliet paper holder on wall broken. Dont think floor had been mopped. Lmv was very nice to use. But there was no warning that you can only use it on 35 mile an hour roads. Even with the issues, everyone had a nice time.
