Aloha! Vorremmo darvi il benvenuto nel nostro piccolo angolo di paradiso sulla Big Island delle Hawaii, sulla costa meridionale di Kohala / Kona. A 20 minuti in auto a nord dall'aeroporto di Kona, la zona di South Kohala è elegante e vicina ad alcune delle più belle spiagge di sabbia bianca dell'isola. La famosa baia di Hapuna e il Kekaha Kai State Park distano solo circa 10 minuti in auto.

Il nostro condominio con 2 camere da letto e 2 bagni è stato aggiornato con nuova cucina, bagni e pavimenti. Tutto brilla con mobili di lusso, lussuoso letto king size nel master, lussuosa regina nella seconda camera da letto, elettrodomestici in acciaio inossidabile e divano letto matrimoniale estraibile nel soggiorno.

Vista Waikoloa si trova nella zona balneare di South Kohala. Due campi da golf di livello professionale e negozi interessanti raggiungibili a piedi.

A Hawaiian Dream!

We had the most wonderful stay at Reg and Susan's condo and would absolutely choose to stay here again on a return visit to the Big Island. The condo's amenities of beach chairs, boogie boards, coolers, and even beach bags to carry our towels and snorkels in made beach days a breeze. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to prepare all of our meals in-house which was a huge money-saver. We loved the close proximity to the beautiful and heated pool too!

Second Time, Second Great Stay

This property is a great location, very quite, great salt water pool, near trails and the store. The fitness center needs an overhaul and a good cleaning, and the TV technology is not the best at supporting streaming movies, etc. Otherwise, though, its a great place for a good price.

Nice and convenient

We enjoyed Reg and Susan's two bedroom condo in Waikoloa. The unit was about 20 steps to the complex's saltwater lap pool with two jacuzzis, and about a one minute walk to a small fitness center and a large community area with several grills. The complex is also located conveniently within Waikoloa - it's 10-15 minute walk to the King's shops and the Marriott hotel, another block past that to the Queen's shops, a 5 minute walk to the Hilton, and a 5 minute walk to a nice beach trail across the street from the complex. We watched the sun rise between Mauna Kea and Anaeho'omalu Bay every morning. Several renowned beaches and hikes are within a 20-30 minute drive. Reg and Susan were responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Thanks!

Retirees Retreat

Advertised as second floor, two twin beds in second bedroom. We were on first floor, one double bed. But it did not matter much. The facility was clean and integrated to the outdoors with two lanais. Seating was comfortable with many chair and couch options. No complaints from anyone. Our group consisted of retired anthropology professors who received their Ph.D. degrees from Stanford U. We held long discussions everyday sharing our accumulated experience on the topic of how social structures and organizations need much more attention in public discourse, policy and planning. We all learned from each other and had a great time in a wonderful environment. (No communication with property manager)

This is a beautiful condo in a very nice resort area of the island. The location was perfect for us as we visited Kona and Hilo sides of the island. Also very near some great snorkeling beaches that they gave directions to access.

We are a family from British Columbia, Canada and have enjoyed spending vacations in Hawaii over the last few years.

We have travelled to some of the other islands in Hawaii, and found the Big Island to have the most to offer. We love the peaceful relaxing environment , and the wide range of activites and wonderful beaches.

One day we hope to spend several months of the year in Hawaii when we retire. We want to share with you, our guest, our future retirement home in beautiful Hawaii.

Perché ha scelto questa struttura

We chose our condo in this location because of the proximity to some of the best beaches on the Big Island. We also like the upscale feel of the Waikoloa area.

Reg and the boys are avid snorkelers and we really enjoy exploring the vivid underwater life that the west coast of Big Island has to offer.

This condo is also within walking distance of the Kings & Queens shopping area, with restaurants and shops so once there, you don't really have to drive anywhere.

However, there are so many great places to see on Big Island, you will probably want to rent a car anyways. Where else can you go to see a real, live active volcano! A must see for geology buffs!

Cosa rende unica questa struttura

We very carefully selected our condo after researching and visiting most of the complexes on the west coast of Big Island.

The Vista Waikoloa resort is one of the best constructed buildings with very pleasing architecture and beautiful manicured grounds. It has one of the best pools on the island (heated and salt water = no chlorine and easy on the eyes).

Our ground floor unit has a very large, peaceful lanai which is very close to the pool. You can walk from the lanai to the pool in seconds without stairs or elevators. Great for kids coming and going to the pool. The pool and hot tub area is very quiet, and at times you have these places to yourself.

One of the other reasons we selected this unit was for the expansive windows, floor to ceiling on two walls. The condo is very bright, with plenty of sunlight, but still cool to be very comfortable. Our condo is properly oriented to have the gentle breeze flow through in the afternoons and evenings.
