We had an amazing 3 night stay at Shore Crest, Lake Placid. The home is immaculate and very comfortable. We were a group of 10 adults and there was plenty of room for everyone to have time together and also privacy when wanted. Each bedroom having it's own bathroom was really nice. The kitchen is well stocked. The covered deck is probably the best part of the house as you can enjoy the view in any weather. David and Madeleine were delightful hosts.

The house was amazing! Perfect combination of form and functionality. Location couldn't have been better including wonderful view of lake. The hosts were very friendly and professional. There were 6 of us for a weekend of golf, food and drink...had a great time! Strongly recommend.

We had a wonderful time for the 4th of July long weekend. Plenty of space, quiet, comfortable, clean and excellent location to Main Street. Madeline was exceptional to do business with, highly recommend! The view of the fireworks for the 4th was incredible comfortably from the front porch.

Traveled with 8 adults and 5 children under 3. The house was perfectly set up to accommodate all of us. There was plenty of bedrooms to choose from and each bedroom having its own bathroom was a huge plus. The kitchen was fully stocked with plates, glasses, serving platters, silverware, and pots/pan to cook with. This was a nice surprise as most rentals do not have all those items. All appliances in the kitchen worked great and accommodated our large party.The deck was where we spent 90% of our time! It was a great place to sit outside and enjoy the lake views. Being able to walk to main street within seconds was extremely convenient and made exploring lake placid so much easier.Our whole group agreed we would recommend this house to anyone! It was certainly worth the price.

We stayed at this property from Dec 28th through Jan 2nd. The house was just beautiful and the proximity to Main Street cannot be beat. We would not hesitate to rent this home again. The owner was extremely accomodating and communication was great.

Great property in a great location

We had a great time staying at Madeleine's property. The house was spotless when we arrived and we didn't encounter any problems during our stay. The location is great as well since we could walk everywhere.

A perfect vacation spot

Outstanding Location. Very clean, comfortable beds, bathrooms for every room is a big plus owners, owners extremely responsive and very easy to work with. Our family of 13 really enjoyed the house and everything that came with it especially easy access to the town and the beach. Would recommend us house to anyone.

We had a great time and the house was perfect with each bedroom having its own bathroom. Location was great, right off Main Street. Would definitely look to stay here for the next trip to Whiteface.

Just a great group, neat, well behaved, respectful of their surroundings, easy to please, everything a host could wish for. One would be lucky to host them as we were. There was a minor glitch on our part and they took it in their stride with no complaints. Hopefully we will see them again.

Family vacation to Lake Placid

Our family enjoyed a 5 day stay at Shore Crest in late August. The main room and bedrooms easily accommodated 12 of us and we loved the covered porch overlooking Mirror Lake.

Great Location

Beautiful house in a great location. Short walk to the Olympic Center and all downtown shops and restaurants. House is clean and beautiful and has everything we needed.

Ladies Weekend in Lake Placid

We had a wonderful stay! The house was perfect for our group and the location was great. The hosts Madeliene and David were wonderful to deal with. If we ever visit Lake Placid in the future I know exactly where we will stay!

Great Location

Accommodations were excellent for our large family. Location to Main Street Stores and Restaurants was 50 feet away. Definitely would recommend this property to family and friends.

Lake Placid Gem

We rented this property for 10 adults and it was absolutely perfect for us! We were able to walk everywhere, loved the working fireplace, and the views from the deck were spectacular!

Great location & amazing property. 6 adults and 4 small children fit very comfortably. We cooked all of our meals in the home. Kitchen and amenities were great. We enjoyed the balcony at night looking out onto the lake. Very accessible to in town activities I.e. kayaking on the lake, public beach, restaurants and shops. Absolutely recommend!

Ski Trip!

Awesome location for a long weekend in Lake Placid! We skied at Whiteface and staying in the village of Lake Placid was a great decision. The house was as advertised!
