We loved staying at this property. The lake and house are beautiful. The dogs loved swimming and we enjoyed fishing off the dock.

The home was equipped with an abundance of amenities, very comfortable beds, beautiful outdoor spaces to enjoy and well cared for gardens! We were very impressed with the attention to details throughout the interior and exterior.

The setting and house made for the perfect family vacation. We were out in the water every day. So many birds, turtles and fish. The paddle board was my favorite. There are also kayaks, paddle boat, canoe and rowboat. So peaceful. Loved the screen porch and deck. I definitely would book again in a heartbeat.

This was a great place to gather for our annual sisters trip! House was very accommodating and well stocked. Plenty of seating. We spent evenings in the screened in porch and mornings on the deck looking out at the water. Host was accessible and quick to respond to our questions. Lots of things to do and close to many towns and attractions.

Property was in desperate need of a deep clean. There was dust and cobwebs throughout. Mold and mildew on the bathroom shower liners.Carpeting had an odor.Lighting was poor and could not use fans provided due to excess dust.Owner offered to send back cleaner only after we had fully unpacked which would have required repacking and more time away from the house.Efforts to resolve these concerns through a reasonable financial credit with owner and Vrbo were unsuccessful.

Please read the review from a family that stayed for a week and left one day prior to this person's arrival, as well as our other reviews. We do a deep clean twice a year. We offered to have cleaners come back to address any missed areas but were declined. We refunded twice the amount of the cleaning fee, and VRBO indicated they would match that amount.

Third time staying and, as usual, we had a great time. The home is well furnished and the lake is quiet and relaxing. We took a day trip yo Lake George and enjoyed it also.

We enjoy the wildlife and having the pond so close for swimming and fishing. The house is very comfortable. We have stayed here twice, so we obviously enjoy it

We enjoyed a lovely stay here. The lake was so fun. The boys enjoyed paddle boarding and I enjoyed floating in the water. We also really enjoyed spending time outside in the screened in porch. The surrounding area was so beautiful!

Perfect Getaway!

This beautiful lake side home was the perfect place to just relax and enjoy nature. The hosts thought of everything to make their guests feel at home. The property was just gorgeous and so peaceful! Highly recommend this place to all!

Peaceful location, exactly what we were looking for to be with our grownup children. We simply relaxed, played games, enjoyed the pond and had great food all in the in one location. We enjoyed the front deck, when it got too hot we enjoyed the closed-in porch.

Perfect setup for a 3 generation crew with 2 grandparents in their 70s, 2 parents in their 40s, and two boys (13 & 9). The bedroom layout worked perfectly with the two bedrooms on the second floor separated by a bathroom. (a loft style hallway runs above the living room). The first floor bedroom is underneath the bathroom and the bunk bed room. The house is lovely and had so many delightful surprises. Believe the listing when they talk about the birds you’ll see. My husband, dad, and 9 year old formedThe Bird Gang (I know not very creative name, but they were up early, so…) and noted double digits of different bird species. When a minor issue came up Helen was immediately responsive and it was addressed in a very timely manner. The screen doors have impeccable carvings, the couch is ridiculously comfortable, and the king bed was super comfortable (I had zero complaints from my fellow travelers). You could barely see the neighbors, but could make it to Granville (where stores are) in 10 min or less. I’ve already recommended this house to another friend that wants to take a trip to the area.

A home away from home

Our stay was exactly what was to be expected as advertised and more! It was a great layout, old yet charming and clean. All the water activity boats and fishing gear made for an unforgettable stay! We loved it so much, we tried to book it again in August but they are booked through summer!

Great getaway

My family and I were able to get away for a few days and this was the perfect spot. Our one year old loved the birds and the view was gorgeous. Highly recommend!

Beautiful place

We really enjoyed our stay. The screened in porch was my favorite and where I spent most of my time. The bed was comfortable and the home was clean. Really appreciate them also accommodating my date range for the stay as well.

We spent a magical week at the pond house. Loved the screened in porch, deck, yard, pond. Our grandsons thoroughly enjoyed the kayaks and boats - with loads of fishing and swimming. There are all kinds of things to explore/enjoy in the area. We can’t wait to come back for another visit!

Perfect family get away

Loved staying here. It was so nice having a fully stocked kitchen for cooking purposes and being right on the water was even better. My family and I had a great time here and would definitely rent again I loved that there was a VHS player there with a bunch of VHS tapes to watch! Thank you!

Lake house

We had a great time. Pictures made it seem a little bigger. The doc and lake right there is nice, but the hill down to the doc is very steep.
