An Absolutely Stunning Home — Even More Beautiful in Person! Our stay in Destin was absolutely wonderful! This home was even more beautiful in person than the pictures could ever capture! The photos are gorgeous, but they truly don’t do this property justice. Everything was beautiful, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed to make our stay special. One of our favorite parts was the beautiful rooftop, where I could find my husband and daughter every morning enjoying the incredible views. Those little moments made our stay even more memorable! Another thing we truly appreciated was how accommodating the home was for my mother. She is able to walk but cannot walk long distances, and having the elevator made such a difference in allowing her to comfortably enjoy the home with the rest of our family. That kind of accessibility and convenience meant so much to us.This home was the perfect combination of beauty, comfort, and thoughtful amenities. We made wonderful memories here, and we are so grateful we found this property for our Destin getaway. If you are considering booking, do yourself a favor and book it! You will not be disappointed.Thank you to the owners for sharing such a beautiful home with us. We would absolutely love to return! Five stars without a doubt!

Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re delighted that Vista del Mare was even more beautiful in person and provided such a special setting for your family’s Destin getaway. Hearing about your husband and daughter enjoying the rooftop views each morning makes us smile—those quiet family moments are truly priceless. We’re especially glad the elevator helped your mother comfortably enjoy the home alongside everyone else. It means so much to know that the home’s design, comfort, and amenities helped make your stay memorable. Thank you for your heartfelt recommendation and for choosing Vista del Mare. We would love to welcome you and your family back for more beautiful views and cherished memories! FunVacay Team

Our vacation was excellent! The house was great and the surrounding area inside the community was charming and relaxing. We did have to fill the propane on the rooftop fire pit. The master bedroom Jacuzzi also didn’t work on one side. It was the perfect place for a family to relax, unwind, and make great memories.

Awesome property. The architecture of this house is amazing. Prime location. The only downfall is the HOA not allowing your own umbrellas on the beach. You have to buy shade. But overall very good.

8/10 Buono

Mi è piaciuto: Pulizia, check-in, comunicazione e posizione
Beautiful home, cleaning missed a couple simple things upon check-in. All sites for the rental said that the community pool was heated for that time of year. This was a very important factor for me when deciding where to stay as I have a daughter with eczema & very sensitive skin, she can’t swim in the ocean. To our disappointment, I had to watch her during the entire stay sit it out every time that we all went to swim. The pool WAS NOT heated. When I notified the rental agency they said I could heat it for 60. A day. Really?? I’m going to pay 60 a day for the entire community to use a heated pool? The home itself was gorgeous & perfect other than the lie about the pool. Housekeeping could have done a better job before we arrived. I would rent this beautiful home again, if the pool IS HEATED like promised.

Thank you for your feedback. We sincerely apologize for the misunderstanding regarding the pool. You are absolutely correct that the community pool is not able to be heated, and it was an error on our part to suggest otherwise. We understand how important this feature was for your stay, and we deeply regret the inconvenience this caused, especially for your daughter. Regarding housekeeping, we appreciate you bringing this to our attention and will address it with our team to ensure higher standards moving forward. We are truly glad to hear that you enjoyed the home itself and would consider staying with us again. Please know that we value your experience and will work diligently to ensure accurate information and an exceptional stay in the future. Should you choose to return, we’d be happy to assist in making your visit as comfortable as possible.

Amazing Home

This home is amazing. It is only steps to the private beach, which was not crowded even in middle of summer vacation season. The home itself is magnificent—spacious, beautiful detail in every room, luxurious bedding, huge showers in all bathrooms, gigantic kitchen with upscale appliances, and cannot say enough about the balconies, including the incredible rooftop balcony. The rental agency was very responsive and helpful. One comment on the neighborhood, while the beach is only steps away, it is accessible only by stairs. There is no ramp. Just something to be aware of for folks with limited mobility, or those counting on the ramp to haul beach gear/strollers. 10/10 — can’t wait to stay again.

We rented this home for my wedding weekend. My fiance could stay on the first floor and I would stay on the third. When we arrived the first night, the AC unit on the third floor was not working. We suffered through the night. I called the property manager and they send two people out and by the time we left for the wedding, the AC was repaired on the 3rd floor. My fiance had to get a hotel. It was a horrible experience. We come to get married and are charged these type of fees, to have no AC on the 3rd floor for 2 out of 4 days of our stay. I have reported my concern with the property manager and now when I call, it goes straight to a messaging center and hangs up. This is so wrong and I need help with making this right! They literally ruined my wedding weekend. My makeup artist and stylist struggled to keep me together due to the heat. We finally had to ask my fiance to leave the house so I could change floors. I seriously need someone to contact me to make this right. The owner did not hold up their end of the contract.
