Very nice and roomy place, Heads up if plan on cooking, You need to supply your own aluminum foil or parchment paper and plastic wrap . Other than that everything else was excellent.

We had a great stay during our trip to Lake Norman. It was made all the better staying at Jake's Lake House. It was the perfect size for our family. There were plenty of kitchen supplies making family dinner very easy every night. Despite there being neighbors, we felt complete privacy on the back porch enjoying sunsets on the lake. We absolutely would come back again.

It would be unfair to say that the listing was inaccurate but in the end we all felt a grade of B was a fair assessment. Like a term paper that is structurally sound but lacks that something special or unique to make it worthy of the highest praise.We enjoyed our stay. Beautiful week on a peaceful part of the lake. Plenty of space indoors and out and everything was in working order. But it was a bit tired and used. The couch was old, creaky and uncomfortable, the grill is falling apart and the kitchen was old and worn out. A few of us got splinters from worn out decking so we wore shoes when outside. Nothing we couldn’t handle but perhaps worthy of consideration for some freshening up.But again, great week enjoyed by all and a great first visit to Lake Norman.

Great Lake Stay

House was very large and easily fit all of our family for graduation. The lake and kayaks were great for the kids. We had a wonderful time.

Great location and accommodations

Our family enjoyed our stay. The house could use some minor outdoor cleaning, but I am sure that is mostly due to being a water front property.

Good spot on the Denver side of Lake Norman with plenty of space for a bigger group. Our group especially enjoyed the backyard area and cornhole boards. Would definitively book again and recommend to friends/family

Great Family Vacation

Our family enjoyed our Thanksgiving vacation at this property. Fishing, kayaking, playing pool, games and more! The house is spacious. We cooked all our meals and could eat together at the large dining table.

Beautiful Property

Beautiful home and property on Lake Norman. We loved that we could all be together and be comfortable in our own bedrooms. Lots of things to do and we especially loved the pontoon boat and the kayaks and paddle boards!

Fun escape for all ages

A great getaway for 4 generations of our family! The indoor recreation was ideal since we had cool wet weather. Also the property representative Morgan was helpful, particularly when we needed to extend our stay.

This home has an interesting floor plan in that no rooms are square. Very pleasant and relaxing. We enjoyed some time on the large rear decks, which have several rockers. There are several steps outside, so my older sister just came in through a back ground floor door and used the interior steps.

We had a great stay here with our family of 11. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, a well appointed kitchen and eating areas. We wished the home had been more updated like the pictures had shown. The dock is in need of some repair, and the gazebo area was more rundown than expected. Overall we enjoyed our stay here, but would hope that updates are made.

Healing Staycation

We as a family have experienced a lot of loss recently and needed a vacation. It was hard to schedule a short notice long stay further away due to school and work. So this stay was perfect with not going to far away but being close enough and being on the water.

Amazing lake experience!

We had a wonderful experience at Jakes lake house for our guys trip. It’s in a great location close to main lake but in a quiet cove. Very well appointed house and game room was really fun with ping pong, pool and a great classic video game to relive all our favorites from the old school games. Thanks for a special experience!
