We appreciate your observations regarding the furnishings and photos. Your comments have been shared with the homeowner, who continues to make updates to ensure the property remains comfortable and inviting for future guests. Regarding the hot tub, we want to clarify that it is thoroughly cleaned, treated, and refilled after every guest stay, then rechecked prior to each arrival to confirm proper water balance and safety levels. The system for this particular spa requires a manual reset following maintenance, and the owner misplaced the instructions for that process. As a result, the system’s notification did not accurately reflect the recent service. A replacement manual has already been ordered so that this can be corrected moving forward. The filter was replaced on schedule and in accordance with our maintenance program. We’re very sorry to hear that some members of your group experienced skin irritation. While this can occasionally occur due to individual sensitivity to spa chemicals or other factors, we take these reports seriously and will continue to monitor and maintain our hot tubs with great care. Thank you for your feedback. The shower in the 3rd bathroom has now been repaired. A new coffee pot has been put in. Please keep in mind that next time contact us immediately and we will have brought a new one as soon as possible. We are local and here to correct any issues that arise during your stay. This owner is working on updating many items in the home. There are table cloths for the dining table. The appliances are planned to be updated soon. We hope that you will stay with us again in the future to see that the updates have been completed.

Having the kitchen, dining, and living areas upstairs to take advantage of the beautiful ocean views and sunsets is one of our favorite features as well. We wanted to let you know that the home is already scheduled to receive all new mattresses, so we're hopeful that will make for a more comfortable night's sleep. We sincerely apologize for the trash that was left at the entrance when you arrived. That is not the experience we want for our guests, and we understand how disappointing it must have been to start your vacation that way. We also apologize for the ants you encountered. While they can occasionally become an issue in our coastal environment, especially during warmer weather, we have our pest control team regularly service the home and will be following up again to address this. We appreciate your comments regarding the walking path and understand your concerns. While the public beach access path next to the home is outside of our control, we do our best to make guests aware of the home's location and ask that pet owners clean up after their own dogs during their stay. As noted in the listing, this home does not have air conditioning, which is common along the Oregon Coast where temperatures are typically mild. We also appreciate you mentioning the window screens, and we'll be reviewing that with the homeowner. Thank you for also recognizing the home's spacious layout, value, and proximity to the beach.
